LG Smart TV: No Signal But HDMI Connected? - How To Fix on LG 4K webOS!

All good tips but doesn’t solve my issue. My Apple TV is connected, and it shows up in the LG TV sources. My problem is it shows “no signal” after powering up both the Apple TV and LG TV using my Apple TV remote and the tv is automatically connected to the correct source. When I then manually select the source on the LG the Apple TV signal comes through. Why does it need me to manually grab my LG remote to do this? Why no signal on the LG when it first turns on? Frustrating.

Onn Box & hdmi cable working perfectly connected properly to 10 year old Philips tv. But when I connect Onn TV Box to LG 27 inch tv hdmi input, after about a minute or two the signal is lost and it either goes back to initial LG screen showing the hdmi device connected that I have to click on to re connect but problem comes back. Sometimes when the signal is lost and I get a noisy static screen. I’ve removed and reinserted the hdmi connections but problem persists, unplugged the hdmi cable both the 5v and Onn Box from the power outlets, reset both the Onn Box and LG tv and still have the same problem. Both have the latest firmware. Please, someone, help!

I have no signal message for my cable TV, but Netflix and Max works? What is the explanation for that, is it also on HDMI?

I tried all and it didn’t work… 5sec check. The HDMI cable was backwards. I know it’s not supposed to matter which end goes where, but this particular cable I bought… one end said TV. the other end said cable box/external device. Hope this helps someone in the future
