I splurged and got a One Plus 7 Pro. I didn't have to spend a grand to have 1 of the fastest phones out there. Just a fantastic phone.

The Moto G7 power is the better buy. Although it only has a 720p screen, it is one of the best I've ever seen. The colors are vibrant and well calibrated. You won't regret purchasing it. LG ought to be ashamed of themselves. The only care about their profits, not us the consumer.

💯 I use to have the LG Stylo 1 & 3, but I couldn't take the two gigabytes of RAM and the Snapdragon 400 series, and also the 32GB of RAM😂 so I invested in a Xiaomi note 6 pro, great phone best phone I ever owned, I would definitely recommend it or the shami note 7 pro, both $200 or less on Amazon! For sure the battery upgrade feature is a plus lasting longer and faster charging, and as stated the stylus pen change was very smart ,able to get pen out easy with different cases and have not lost my stylus pen once since having the stylo 5.i like the pearl white back cover and response seems all around better and a little smoother.

I am over here, reading the comments from other viewers because I am kind of excited that there is a phone (the Stylo 4) with a stylus on AT&T that I can afford. I love the Samsung brand and I've had a Note 4. I wanted the newer Note for my last upgrade but the old one bricked out just as I moved to a new city and absolutely had to have a phone better than the cheap one I picked up just to fly with. The new Note wasn't going to be available for a few weeks so I went ahead and got the S8+. The one and ONLY reason I every got Notes over other Samsung phones was for the stylus. I never even knew LG or any other brand phone came with one. I care not a whit about the very minor deficiencies of the Stylo. For the price, I'll be getting one asap. I've paid off the S8+ so it can be my backup. I can't justify putting out over a thousand bucks for a phone when there's this one with a stylus.

I had the Stylo 4. Didn't see the Stylo 5 as much of an upgrade. So I got a Motorola G6 instead. The unlocked Amazon version with Alexa. Also has Google assistant and Moto voice. This phone has pretty much all I need including Dolby Audio. I do wish the screen was bigger like the 6.2 Stylo 4.

Nothing changed except the Stylo 5 as an extra squillabyte of memory, they removed the radio and gave you a few more mins of SOT. Literally everything else is the same right down to the mem speed, display and processor speed. They could have at least added two more squillabytes of mem and the next gen processor. It's as if they took a bunch of unsold Stylo 4 models and refurbished them by removing the radio and using the freed up space to stick that extra squillabyte of ram in it's place then sold those. Thanks, but not thanks. Great review tho.

If you like it then its alright but there a flaw to this phone. If you download alot of apps stylo 5 will only accept picture/video to the micro sd card. Also the video of 1080p recording looks really bad and 32gb of on board memory meaning your only have 16gb left but if you like it then okay :)

So if I caught it all the Boost Stylo 5 does have a new clip to hold in stylus, upgraded Operating system. An extra gb of ram to make it faster. I'm a LG fan anyway!...just won't be in a hurry to get the stylo 5 since i have the stylo 4...my next LG will be the LG Q7+ with 4gigs of RAM...LG has a variety of great performing midrange and flagship devices..so it's really not a big deal..im using now the k30 & it's also a great midrange by LG..lolol!.

hey hey, I have talked with multiple reps with metro and the stylo 5 is not being released for another month or so. can u try to confirm this, cause the delay may mean there getting the stylo 5 with the 6.2 full 1080p display, 1.8g 632 snapdragon, with 32g or 64g mem, 4g ram, android pie. its either that or its the unlocked version. only specs that are confirmed, but not out yet. boost didnt get it either. ????

On Boost the Stylo 4 had a Mediatek processor while the Stylo 5 has a Snapdragon, I haven't checked benchmarks though but that might make it a better upgrade for Boost users.

Been so busy , but at the same time in awe that LG actually dropped a Stylo 5 without much fanfare (I consider this an LG Stylo 4 + with Android OS 9.0 Pie, because that's basically what it is with a new colour available exclusive to Cricket - and that's not a negative). 👉 I understand the gripes that will come, but my opinion remains it's a solid budget phone, one more phone consumers can choose from, not all the specs that we wanted, some may actually prefer Motorola G7 Power (me ✋) because it was a true improvement over the G6. 😉 We shall see if the LG Stylo 5 becomes available elsewhere in time.😀👍
