He is WRONG...IPS generally better RT as compared to VA. Weakness is contrast ratio. VA can have 3-4 times better NATIVE contrast as compared to IPS. VA , which most high-end TV's are can have EXCELLENT and accurate colors.

Thanks for the review. One question, can you turn off the "black stabilizer" feature? I plan on utilizing it's 99% srgb for graphic design but since it's a budget monitor I'm scared they might skimp out on giving their gimmicky features an off button haha. Again, thanks for the review!

I have both, LG has great quality control never had to return one, benq ex2150 is really great would actually like it better jsut make sure you get a good monitor first ex2510 I had, had a yellow tinge no matter what setting I returned it and got a replacement ex2510 and it was perfect

Thanks Sleggar, and great question! There's a matte coating on the display which is there to reduce glare/reflections. The camera might've made it look a bit cloudy, but in person the display looks absolutely normal. Hope this helped.

this monitor jiggles a LOT. ive had it for about 6 months and it's kind of painful if you're playing almost any game that isn't super slow/chill. i even notice the jiggles while just browsing. keep that in mind before buying edit: you can even notice the jiggles in the video.

to clarify its 1ms MBR, but this is a bit elusive: "GTG (grey to grey) has become the popular metric for measuring response times because it produces lower numbers than BTB (black to black) which used to be the standard. MBR is some LG made up stat that no one else uses. It's Motion Blur Reduction relates to flickering the backlight to reduce ghosting on fast moving images."

Mine just arrived today and I’m really happy with it. I use it for my PS4 and I was wondering if there was a way for me to disable the feature that makes it automatically turn off after a while, since controller use doesn’t count as input it turns off while I’m playing

There should be! Try going to settings (on display), and set Auto Stand By to off. Also try turning smart energy saver off as well.

Hey Ahmed, thanks for your comment. They are both 1ms 144 Hz IPS, but the LG one has some exclusive technologies such as the Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync and Crosshair (for better accuracy).

I just got this monitor, I have no experience with a good monitor like this and settings. I used the cable that came with it, not HDMI. Not sure if that means anything, but I cant access certain settings. Like motion blur, black equalizer, Six color, Gama, contrast, DFC, R/G/B, HDMI compatibility mode. I Don't know what all these do and not sure if i need to know. I do however have issues with colours, as I don't know how to get the best colours without it being too high or bright etc. One thing i notice is that white isn't that bright as well as black is too black or lighter.

@@medeirosbrendon tbh, it works as expected. I'd say it's good. But im no expert and don't look at minor difference simce it isn’t visible. I'd say it works just fine and managed to find out how to get a nice clear colour. I think it handle dark colours good.

24 inch is better as it will have higher pixel density = sharper clearer images than the 27inch due to them being 1080 res.

Hi Feng. I think this monitor is great for basic photo or video editing. It does have 99% sRGB coverage and HDR support, but the display isn't colour calibrated out of the box (which might be important for professional editors). Otherwise, it's a great monitor.

@@sleepwalkercris got the LG. Just seemed like a slightly better deal. The free sync works really well with no tearing. HDR looks pretty good. Impressed with the settings and options. Plus it looks cool. So far no issues and I'd recommend it.
