Own the lg 32gq950 for about a month... Love the colors.. Only issue is in some games/videos during certain dark scenes the backlight bleeding is kinda obvious when viewing in HDR with backlight dimming on.... When the scene gets too dark I switch to Fps setting to brighten it up

It is not good for hdr contain at all it's an edge lit panel with 32 diming zones 16 up 16 down, so u will always get blooming in every dark scene for the same price u can get the LG C2 42 which is an oled TV/monitor 120hz instant response time with a true 1ms response time while the lg 32gq950-b says 1ms but it's actually 5ms the lg 32gq950-b advertise hdr1000 but has horrible hdr I used to own one spend 3 months with it then returned it for the LG C2 42 I have the best of both worlds great response time n great hdr but don't get very bright n they Glossy screens showcase deeper darks, brighter whites, and richer colors than their matte counterparts. But reflect a lot as long as u not directly behind a window. u are good, n even so u can just put blinds

@@ALLDAAYE I does sound way to big and 120hz is too slow too. I've never seen an HDR screen and I'm not interested in the technology (I don't see how more luminosity can be a good thing for your eyes) so I don't care in the slightest if the HDR of this screen is subpar, I won't use it anyway.

There is a new G7 version the G70B. From what I've seen the new one has its own OS to connect to cloud gaming like a smart tv and include speakers. But don't know if it has a better panel than the G70A. It would be nice if you can review it!

So the g70b looks like a cross between the T35 and the G70A. Samsung removes some good features (lighting panel is not as bright) and adds in the smart gaming and smart tv built in. Could be a decent option for somebody. But seems less than the G70A for most purposes.

I copped a GQ950-B yesterday at micro center, open box but literally brand new for 600 flat! Literally didn’t even have the protective wrapping taken off the screen!

Does anyone know what the difference is between the odyssey g70a 28inch LS28BG700EPXEN and the odyssey g70b 28inch LS28BG702EPXEN ? The g70a is bit older but the g70b is cheaper?

The g70b has built in speakers and an OS whereas the g70a doesn't. I think they have use the same panels and everything else but I'm not sure.

Good choice. 32" is perfect for 4k. 27" is too small. I'm even considering selling it and going down to 1440p and picking up the 1440p Samsung g7 for better contrast and 240hz. I initially bought it to play 4k on ps5 (before the 1440p update). But I sold my PS5 and my PC can't handle 4k 144hz in newer games.

oh buddy. I would have to test that out. From what I can read online, the Asus wins in uniformity, input lag, brightness and build quality. LG kind of beats it out otherwise, so gsync, color accuracy and overall gaming. I would say it is a close race. But the Asus might win, depending on the use case.

Hi there I bought the gigabyte m28u monitor for my Christmas and I’m having an issue with it the screen keeps going black after some amount of time I’ve not got eco mode on or that I’m just wondering if you know how to fix it .

Are you switching between HDR and SDR? That will cause a black flicker. Sometimes using a multi monitor setup will do it. Not sure what system you are using, but make sure your system, drivers and monitor firmware are up to date also

I think the Gigabyte has a strange setting built into it that you CANNOT turn off, in which it turns itsself off after 4 hours. Its absolutely bizarre

Can you make a video or explain what the best settings is for the s28g70A screen and xbox serie x pls? I know that te screen is 16,7m color but i feel that it's loosing colors in mw2 you can see it in the loging menu on 8 bit and when it set to 10 bit then you wil no longer see any lines.. but 8bit feels faster than 10bit and with 10 bith feels like the colors are more correct and smoother but slower screen calculation.. i am confused 8 bit, 10bit screen on fast faster or fastest by the way i play only sdr beceause hdr is not looking good on this monitor.. i appreciate your help thanks

Great video as always! Still, I think it’s weird that it is still not possible to get 120 Hz on this display with the PS5, when in PC mode. For me it’s only possible in AV mode, which locks in most of the display settings. (I am currently on the latest firmware update: 1008.1)

The G70B is almost identical. Funny enough it scored a tiny bit higher in the gaming category, but I don't know how because it is basically the next model of the same thing.

I am skeptical when you mentioned in the new model they removed some features (lighting panel is not as bright). Is there a drastic difference in the quality between the two models? I do not see G70A coming into to stock anymore. Is G70B good option?

Different resolution and series of monitors. The GQ950 will be brighter, higher in resolution and potentially has a better processor as well.

LG´s conrast ratio is about 800:1 and this sucks. In all dark scenes it is grayish looking overprized crap.

Unfortunately I kind of agree. The price just needs to come down. They have a lot to compete with this year, unlike last year.

It's not like you'll see a massive difference in contrast between them, the Samsung is only around 1100:1, which in real conditions looks almost identical to 800:1, and it might easily look the same or even worse depending on how the IPS glow and/or backlight bleed is on a specific unit. If you want reasonably good blacks, get a VA panel or (obviously) an OLED panel, or at least a mini LED full array IPS panel, not an edge-lit IPS panel.
