Vinnie Tran The exception is the LG G2. Almost perfect phone, just one problem, if your screen cracks, and you want to replace it (like how I had to do it) GOOD LUCK. It is very hard as not only is the back non-removable and almost glued down tight, the rest if the components are almost impossible to get out. Took me 3 days to disassemble. Other than that, I love the LG G2

The G3 isn't water resistant like you think. The internal components of most Moto devices have a hydrophobic coating that repels water, but anything more than splashes and you'll have a dead phone.

After nearly a year of use, I'm glad I chose this phone. My carrier had only offered the Titan version, but I found replacement parts (back cover, the plastic end caps, volume buttons, etc. in the silver and pink versions, so I was able to turn my LG V20 into the badass pink color I always wanted.

Still rocking my LG V20. The thing is a tank. I dropped it so many times, only superficial scratches, it's super easy to take apart so I can buy a new part replace it and it's going to be as good as new. I also got an 4100mah battery that fixed SOC issues, I'm also using Lineage with android 10. The phone still rocks and I have no plan to upgrade to a black box that I can't take apart or easily replace the battery. I hate the trend phones took to become vaults where you can't enter.

@kimjongtrump19348 жыл бұрын
Zack you should introduce a new part in your tests: Heat test. Put the phone in a situation where it's heated up by its surroundings. Some of your viewers live in warmer, tropical countries where the summer easily reaches 40• C. I remember once driving with my car during the summer with the ac on. I had my iPhone on the passenger seat and it stopped working just by lying there for 10 minutes. I had to put it in the fridge to lower its temperatures
@kimjongtrump19348 жыл бұрын
Also a heat test is more beneficial than a burn test as very few phones really are exposed to flames while most are exposed to heat.

The V20 has a never ending and ever growing number of compelling reasons to be my next phone choice, including the repairability ease you just showed. Love your channel man. I've been watching for a few months and never realised that I had'nt subscribed :P sorry. finally did it today XD
@ShaiyanHossain8 жыл бұрын
get the V20 does everything the HTC 10 does audio-wise, but you get benefits such as a removable battery
@ABDLLHSDDQI8 жыл бұрын
Shaiyan Hossain yup. IR blaster, removable battery and the peace of mind because of the mil spec 810g shock resistant rating. But the design of the HTC 10 is incredible, its skin of android is super fast and it handles ram well and its just generally snappy, and that its smaller, all contribute to a better day to day experience compared to the v20 which offers more features that would be used/noticed lesser. That's why I keep getting stuck :P but I'll definitely end up with the v20 anyway...

I've damaged a screen to the point it needed replacement, only once, but I've had quite a lot of water damage, from minor, temporary damage to heavy damage that rendered my phone dead. (this is what happens when you live in the Netherlands and commute by bike no matter the weather). So even though the v20 is a fantastic phone with great audio capabilities, I guess I'll give the edge for water protected phones. That said, IMO the iPhone design is much smarter were the screen is the first to come off. If you need to replace the screen of a galaxy, it's the last bit to come off.
