Seeing the guts of this phone made me realize how stupidly regressive Apple is with the iPhone. Gives you a much better perspective on how Apple is cheating its customers with subdued features. LG G6 has a bigger screen but smaller body compared to the iPhone while also offering so much more.

I'm very unbiased when it comes to tech and I always give credit where credit is due. The ecosystem of Apple is very mature and gives you exactly the experience you're expecting from it. What I'm pointing out right now is that I gave Apple the benefit of the doubt when they removed the headphone jack, thinking that it was all part of their design to utilize the space inside. Seeing the inside of this phone just highlighted how Apple's design team is lacking in that department.

Well, their hardware and software sure ain't lacking. In fact, they have one of the best if not the best hardware/software out there in the market today. What really puts me off about Apple is how they're purposely cutting off features from their products when you can clearly see that it's not only feasible but already done. Wireless charging + expandable storage + waterproof + 5.7" display in a form factor smaller than the iPhone 7 plus? Why are we not getting that in an iPhone?

i really like lg too. samsung rubs me the wrong way, a lot of their 'innovations' feel superfluous (and sometimes counterproductive) to me as a consumer. apple... i admire their cohesive overarching plan, but it really doesn't work for me. it's pretty though. lg just has everything i want, everything i need (plus some really minor issues, but i can forgive those). before lg i was a big nokia fan lol.

i have this problem with my LG G3.. but instead the screen dims slow to pitch black and you cant do anything on the screen and it was caused by the processor solder getting weak due to heat.. after seeing this Im going to upgrade to LG g6 and giving lg a chance since im a fan of their phones.. if it happens again im moving to other manufacturers... You can really feel the whole body being used as a heat sink when it gets warm. There are like 3 spots at the top half of the phone that are slightly warmet than any other part. My G4 used to overheat like CRAZY. You could fry an egg on it. But the G6 has really good heat management.

one of the best phones, only the battery and the usb connecter where not that good and where quickly bad, so charging a sloppy battery was almost not possible because the usb cable eject it self in a second.. but camera, photo, video and sound where outstandingly good

I repaired my LG Nexus 4 a few times and the internals seemed well laid out. the g6 reminds me of the Nexus 4 in regards to the layout.
