The video show sign in with new Account nor sing in with Magic Remote! so my phone of ThinQ app account need to be same as my TV ?? the Voice control of LG Account of ThinQ is working. I sign in with Google acc i press Google button on magic remote nothing pop up , not even Google logo? 2nd i also try sign in Amazon acc to use Alexa but cant ? after update LG new software..??why? why?? I try to link my LG account to Google Home but cant?? my phone has both ThinQ & Google Home, with same network, Bluetooth on aready add my TV to ThinQ app, i follow my tv screen prompts code & key in to my smartphone to iOS Android , But WHY i can not use voice control on my Magic Remote after update webOS software??? Why??? how to set up Google Home Speaker in Google Home Apps?? work with Google but cant link LG account to Google Home why??

I still can not connect to my LG C2. The TV does not pop up in the TV manually Add function of app. Also support phone number does not help. Note: I updated, deleted and readded app, logged on both to the same LG account and Wi-Fi, re-started phone and TV, Registered TV. Please help!

Before connecting, ensure the LG Connect Apps on your TV are turned on. You can see it on the setting then network.

Thank you for the video. I have installed LG ThinQ on my smartphone Samsung mobile. Have connected LG TV with my mobile hotspot. But when i try to connect to tv from LG ThinQ application on smartphone i sm asked to put on WiFi. If i put on wifi hotspot becomes off and tv get disconnected from network! How to sort it out? U have also mentioned to put off mobile data at the start. Why? Hot spot gets disconnected too if i out of mobile data. Spent hours on it. No results! Can u help me to sort it out? Thank you

To set your expectations, the LG ThinQ app can only be connected to LG products via a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection and does not support direct cellular/mobile data connections. The ThinQ app supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to ensure enhanced connectivity with the product. @@LGUSASupport Thank you. Your answer sorted out my biggest doubt. Instead of using broadband, I used one mobile for WiFi and another to have LG THINQ APP with hot spot off. It worked. So we need either two smartphones. Or, one router and another smartphone in which LG THINQ is installed. Correct?

Hey there! To quickly fix any TV internet connection challenges, start by making sure all cables are correctly connected to both the TV and router. Next, reconnect to WiFi by choosing your network and entering the password in the TV's WiFi settings. If necessary, reset everything by unplugging the router, TV, and modem for 1 minute before plugging them back in, following that sequence. Should you continue to experience difficulties, you might want to consider selecting "Request Repair" for further assistance. Hope this helps!. ^ Diego

I am still not able to use the keyboard. Whenever I tap the keyboard icon on the app, a notification pops up on the saying " some apps does not support keyboard option features"

Why can't i hear the tv audio on my phone? Nothing seems to work and cant connect Bluetooth(its grayed out and wont find my device yet i can mirror cast and Bluetooth playback on the tv) either to hear the tv audio on my smartphone

After entering the pin in mobile, it asks for password, I don't know what password is, I tried entering the last 4 letters of tv name , doesn't work , it keep says try again

When setting up your TV with the ThinQ app, you may be asked to enter a password. The password required is not your Wi-Fi password, but rather a specific password related to the LGSmart network created by your TV. The exact password format may vary, but it generally involves entering the last 4 characters of the network name twice, resulting in an 8-character password. Here are the steps to follow: 1. Look for the network name (SSID) displayed on your TV screen, which should start with "LGSmart". 2. The network name may have a combination of letters and digits, such as LG_Smart_Appliances_1234. 3. In the password field, enter the last 4 characters of the network name twice, resulting in an 8-character password. 4. Make sure to enter lowercase letters as lowercase and uppercase letters as uppercase, if applicable. Example 1: If the network name is LG_Smart_Appliances_1234, the password would be 12341234 Example 2: If the network name is LG_Smart_Appliances_abcd, the password would be abcdabcd Enter the password as instructed, and proceed with the setup process of the ThinQ app on your TV.
