My mom (yes biological mother) came out as a lesbian when i was 2 years old after that she divorced my dad. It makes me happy that she and her current wife are able to enjoy the same priveleges as straight couples. My mom and her wife have always been there for me and ive never known anything else, so thats my "normal".

So I'm trying not to be offended by these comments because my mom and her girlfriend have been together for 11 years now (I'm 19) and I have not seem them fight once, they treat me so good, they're amazing parents and it's not different at all then having a mom and a dad. The only thing different is my "dad" is a girl. Stop with the negativity
@kegss

Also!!! THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH ME. I was raised by two females my entire life and I have a normal life just like everyone else. I'm straight, I hangout with friends, I'm in the army, I'm girly. Like nothing is different than a 19 year old being raised in a home with a dad and a mom. It's sad that people can't realize that LOVE IS LOVE no matter if its two boys, two girls, or a boy and a girl.

Before I see any negative comments, id like to say why does it matter if children have 2 mothers or 2 fathers? Some only have one or the other and a lot of children don't have any and gay couples give those types of children a chance and everyone's happy.

A recent study of 5,000 couples (very good sample size) by the Economic and Science Research Council revealed that same-sex couples are more generally positive about and happier with the quality of their relationship. The same study showed that couples who don't have children are likely to be happier than couples who do have children.

All these comments make me want to cry from its stupidity- A man and a woman can love each other A man and a man can love each other A woman and a woman can love each other Love comes in many shapes and sizes As for you people reciting Bible quotes in order to prove that gay marriage is wrong, let me just tell you that I myself am a Catholic. You are not going to Hell or anything just because you're gay. God won't hate you if you're not heterosexual. God doesn't hate anyone. Did I call out all the bigots? Can people just love and tolerate now and stop being so hateful?

I like how, Sean I believe, talked about how not all questions come from a bad place. I think that is a fabulous point. You shouldn't hold someone's curiosity against them. I think it's great that teaches his kids that if someone asks a question, it could simply be because they're curious and want to know the proper way to approach a situation or something along those lines.

Though it might be disturbing to you, people have rights to have their own opinions. Don't get me wrong, I never said they should be able to carry on their opinions into actions, but I'm saying it's their natural rights to have opinions. My friend is raised by two women; her mom and her aunt. I don't see how two moms would be much different. Therefore, I think so long as your caretaker is loving and caring, and genuinely doing their best to raise you properly, these kinds of details don't matter. I've never read anything to suggest otherwise. Besides, it always much better to be raised in a loving home than an abusive one.

im agnostic meaning i dont folw a religion, but the one thing that confuses me most about Christianity is the bible. it says everyone was created equally but then is sexist and homophobic and racist at the same time... also LGBT is scientific, its not a choice...
@uaena3159
@uaena3159 8 жыл бұрын
Well it's true. Its not natural because God didn't create it to be like that. Everyone is saying that God loves homosexuals, which is true, but what they're doing is not what God loves. He doesn't approve same sex marriage, he doesn't approve men who have feminism personality, because he did not create that. The bible is gods word and it's always right, believe it or not. He created Adam and Eve not Adam and another man. God is never wrong. Why would he hate homosexuals if he created them? He loves them but he HATES what they're doing. What they're doing is a sin. He loves them and wants them to realize that what they're doing is not right and repent from what they did. This is gods love. He doesn't hate anyone. He doesn't hate the Devil neither but the devil hates God so that's why the devil is turning what God set in this world upside down. You can hate me all you want but it's the truth. People whithout Godhate the truth that's why they hate on the people who speak the word of God.

Okay, I need an answer. Why is it that a lot of people are saying "poor kids"? I don't understand when there's nothing wrong with them. Is it some people's perspective that if you are a part of an LGBT family that something is wrong with you? If that is the case then some people need to get their facts in order, if you are part of an LGBT family you are just as normal as everyone else. You are raised with your parents values and beliefs, they shape you to be as successful as possible for when you become an adult, they love you until the end. It doesn't matter what gender you are, your sexuality, your beliefs on how the world should be run. A good parent loves their child until the very end, as long as those kids have that love then they are perfectly fine and are free to grow up as they want. "Poor kids", people don't know what they're talking about.

Im tearing up watching this. Im so happy these kids at least can live in peace having lgbt parents. I have 2 dads and I live in Indonesia. Ive been living in a lie telling other people I only have 1 dad and he divorced with my mom I clearly dont have. LGBT is not accepted here and Its sad so many have to hide their identity and true selves. I hope someday we dont have to hide and can be proud of who we are and the family we have.

I see comments saying that LGBT couples shouldn't raise children because a child needs male and female influence in their lives. Does that mean single parents shouldn't exist either? Does a single mom have to find a man to help raise her children? No. If you look at actual facts you would find that kids raised by same-sex parents are just as happy and normal as kids raised by a straight couple.
