@@kathylovesmk I was 'born again ' for years, I did overseas missionary work and was known as the number 1 soul saver until questions that troubled me weren't being answered rather I was shunned so I had to start to think for myself and it lead me to leave the church (not God) as they insisted I was, and my eyes were truly opened. I seen the light and my questions were answered. I hold no grudges as it was a learning experience but I will tell you this, born again christians are amongst the most judgemental, oppressive, hateful, damning, ignorant, poorly educated, blindsighted people on the planet. I know it, I lived it and I have never felt closer to my God than I do today 🙏 God knows my heart and Lord Jesus is my redeemer. I want you to try to imagine what would happen if everyone from a pride festival decided to roll up to a born again meeting, microphone's in hand in an attempt to damn them, tell them they are filthy sinners, wrong, going to burn in hell and need to join the pride festivals and their way of thinking in order to be saved from their cult. How do you think the born agains would react to that? I'm telling you now it would be world war 3, so maybe now you can understand why these people get upset because I tell you something, the christians would be much angrier. They don't like their beliefs being challenged but they sure don't mind challenging others. It doesn't matter how you enterpret scripture, it doesn't matter what beliefs or lifestyles people engage in, what matters is doing what you think is right for yourself and not casting judgement on others and their decisions. Jesus taught us to live by example, it's the best way to get a point across, not getting in people's faces, because that causes them to hate you and pushes them further away from whatever point it is you are trying to get across. Then why is he only appearing to a very small amount of people, 295k years after we humans evolved in evolution. He acted in a small area while all the Earth was already full of humans. Billions and billions of people never even had the chance to know him. And after he died, this religion spread mainly over brutal military power in North Europe, in America , in parts of Asia and in Australia. Till today 2/3 of humans do not follow that religion, not because they are bad, but because they are socialized in other religions and convictions. A very bad strategy of a guy that offers the ONLY way and also a very unsuccessful way. Doesnt sound like the strategy of a god that created all universe and billions of galaxies with billions of solar systems in it. It sounds rather like a man-made invented local religion that made it to spread and needs several justifications.

I was raised in a Christian church and as I got older and realized I'm bisexual I hated myself for it for the longest time. And one day my younger sibling was watching Veggie Tales and it said something that changed the way I saw myself, it said "God made you special".
