I know right, colonization is a boon to the world. People blame colonizers for no reason. These places couldn’t have never to modernize on their own, they never saviors(colonizers)to save them. There is oppression and millions were massacred but who cares? China is innocent and only Tibet grow just like Britain did to its colonies. People are just dumb.

@@Bzdm0 India before the British took over was the largest economic along with China and when they left India was one of the poorest. Britain looted $45 Trillion from India and u talk about development 😂. The living conditions of people in India went down the Bengal famine so many dead because of hunger they were not providing people with health care, employment opportunities, housing. U really need someone good history lessons I guess or are u one of those who believes everything the west says or a white man says are facts.

@@anuragbohra9803 China also colonized Southern Mongolia, East Turkestan before Tibet and is using all the its resources (such as mineral deposits, water which if cut out by CCP will be a problem for India as well as many other Asian countries) which is clearly “loot”. People are literally being driven out of their land in name of development and modernization and their land used for purposes such as mining which pollutes Tibet’s environment. The development shown in the propaganda benefit the Han settlers more than the actual land owners. For example, in the Tibetan capital Lhasa, there are more Han businesses and settlers than native Tibetans. If you Google, you will also find an infamous sign board that surfaced a few years ago in Chinese stating that a native Tibetan will be paid less than a Han worker. Tibet is run mostly by Chinese lawmakers with little to no Tibetan representation. The railways are meant to bring in more Han settlers and soldiers inside Tibet. Just like railways in India were build to extract resources outside of India for British to gain profit not because the Brits wanted to serve the Indian people. Many of these countries (former colonial master) use modernization (introduction of modern education and railway) as excuse to justify colonialism and you are doing the same. Millions of Tibetans died because of the famines induced by the CCP during Cultural revolution and that was a big chunk of Tibetan population. Many cultural sites whose value can’t be defined by a monetary sum have been destroyed by the CCP. What about that? The British also implemented policies and put many Indians under starvation and death, a good example the Bengal famine. People are literally imprisoned and tortured for sending money aboard and writing songs and deemed separatist in Tibet. If you still can’t draw parallels then hats off to you. Be happy living in your facade. You seem to the one in need of history lessons 😂

@@Bzdm0 Tibet,Xinjiang or in Mongolian are not like colonial region, because of they enjoy the same status and vested with powers as other provinces.
