i read somwhere that the scene with karen grassle (caroline) had to be reshot several times because she was laughing so much after nels gets the eggs over his face.

when nels turns to caroline after having the eggs smashed over his head karen grassle was not there she apparently had to leave the set to recover from laughing so much. I often wonder if karen grassle was hired to play caroline because she and michael landon could laugh uproarisley on Q I also wonder what her sense of humour is like in real life oh to meet someone like karen grassle/caroline ingalls god bless her.
