Custom Cool Air Intake , without hydro-lock

This customer wanted an intake that would allow cooler available air to the engine.
He notices as the car and day warmed up the power would drop. This is mainly due to heat soak.
We built and intake with large tube and heat shield to draw air from a cooler source.

Beautiful work as usual guys. I was wondering how you account for engine flex under acceleration? Is it just a bigger hole in the box or more flexible mount at the TB? I’d love to have one on my TEG

Jon Donson Theres flex in the coupler and the hole in the box, the hole is about 25mm larger with room to move. We’ve been building these kind of boxes for years, just most people don’t want to pay for it.
