Elon Musk was right, if Chinese car companies were allowed to compete here in North America, they would destroy every single car company here. The amount of new cars that the Chinese are popping out each month is absolutely mind blowing, and all of these cars have extremely competitive pricing.

Vans are pretty dead in the US. However... Li Auto got to where they are by building luxury SUVs. Their current products like the L8, which is a large 3 row electric luxury with 100 miles of pure electric range for in town use, and 500 plus miles of range on road trips if you use gas. Now THAT would sell like hotcakes in the US.

2:30 I feel it looks like none of those things. It's just really really simple and clean. And that's fine, if unimaginitve. The lights are just straight. Neutral interms of their expression. Take a look at Arrical, Canoo, Lightyear, all of them use this style. It's just what's trendy at the moment. What is interesting about this design is how far down the roof slopes towards the back. That gives it quite a unique proprtion which I find really cool.

Good review number 31. I think it looks really good and I don't find it as polarizing as you suggest. It just looks a bit more modern than typical MPVs. It's becoming ridiculous, by comparison in North American it's like the dark ages.

@johannfriedsam11369 ай бұрын
dafuq are you talking about? This thing charges faster than any car in the market, compared to the Denza it charges about 2.5 as fast, and Xpeng X9 needs 22 minutes from 10-80, while Li Mega needs only 11 minutes. Also the all wheel drive version of this is significantly more efficient than the other competitors. The interior seems more luxurious and spacious as well. So there is your competititve edge. And the hell is your second sentence talking about, the launch of this was only March 1st. Of course sales are low at the beginning. Just wait another 3 months... Do you know that Li Auto has a sales target of 800.000 deliveries, compare that to only about 250k for NIO and Xpeng. That just shows their confidence in their products. It is a little early to say, but Li Auto will probably be the only one to survive the fight to gain market share, without getting bankrupt.

MPV is the right way for luxury, plenty leg room, excellent seats, and easy entry and exit. exterior is alright except for the large side windows. all it needs is raising the body side panels to shorten the height of the windows. Li Auto is correct to remove the engine, opting for EV-no engine vibration, noise, and exhaust. The Xpeng X9 also excellent but this Mega better for more adults riding together more often.
