I have tested the recipe yesterday. I really love it, the durian custard has just the right amount of sweetness, the way I like it. However, it did not stay fresh long, the custard went bad after 1 day even when kept in the fridge. Any tips, or comments something that I did wrong maybe? Or is it meant to be eaten immediately, and not be kept?

From what I know, the gelatin is added to the whipped cream to make it more stable/firm. Common in commercially sold cakes

cup 不准,因为每个人堆材料量的方式不同。烘焙还是用metric单位比较准和consistent。而且如果用称量下一个材料tare不是更方便吗

hi Katherine, i followed 140 for 50 mins but abt 43 mins it started to cracked abit, then i covered with aluminum foil and increased to 160, the cake cracked like huat kieh. may i know why? TIA

The durian filling was perfect, this recipe tasted like the same cake my family used to buy from the bakery. However I did get confused with the "corn flour", was it corn flour or corn starch because there is actually both. Everything else was perfect though, thank you though ^^
