This expo really feels like it nails the balance between “professional” and “personable.” Usually you only get one at the expense of the other, and oftentimes you get neither! Looks rad.

Im the guy that brought the Prologue 21s and most of the other Saturn stuff to the museum. Great to see someone giving my favorite parts of the show some attention. The amount of hardware all setup and usable at one place, much of it stuff the average guy would never get a chance to try out is amazing at this show.

LOL - I live just up the road from this place along the north shore! My dad and I went to this place ALL THE TIME when I was a kid, though I never heard about the retro expo until recently after watching one of 8-Bit Guy's videos where he mentioned previously heading to it as well. Might come down one of these years to see what its all about! If anyone here is also a military history nerd like I am and has some time to spare - another great museum nearby in Bethpage is the Museum of American Armor. Lots of tanks, equipment, and ground vehicles that they sometimes do events and drive-arounds with!

As a person who lived on LI for 20 years, it's always great to see others visit the Cradle of Aviation and the LIRGE! I never got to go to the Expo, but some friends of mine would go starting a few years back. Did hear about it's founding during my Senior Year of HS though, and the College Professor for the Gaming Club at my campus was there from the beginning! Cradle of Aviation, I've been to PLENTY of times though, whether it be from Cub Scouts, School Field Trips, etc. I'll definitely try to go back to LI to visit the Expo, hope to meet you there sometime!
