Im the guy that brought the Prologue 21s and most of the other Saturn stuff to the museum. Great to see someone giving my favorite parts of the show some attention. The amount of hardware all setup and usable at one place, much of it stuff the average guy would never get a chance to try out is amazing at this show.

LOL - I live just up the road from this place along the north shore! My dad and I went to this place ALL THE TIME when I was a kid, though I never heard about the retro expo until recently after watching one of 8-Bit Guy's videos where he mentioned previously heading to it as well. Might come down one of these years to see what its all about! If anyone here is also a military history nerd like I am and has some time to spare - another great museum nearby in Bethpage is the Museum of American Armor. Lots of tanks, equipment, and ground vehicles that they sometimes do events and drive-arounds with!

we don't have shows like this at all in Denmark. At most there'll be some club gatherings, but nothing open to the public. Did however recently learn that there is a retro museum in a small town where we lived when I was little, on the other side of the country, so may have to go for a trip one day

As a person who lived on LI for 20 years, it's always great to see others visit the Cradle of Aviation and the LIRGE! I never got to go to the Expo, but some friends of mine would go starting a few years back. Did hear about it's founding during my Senior Year of HS though, and the College Professor for the Gaming Club at my campus was there from the beginning! Cradle of Aviation, I've been to PLENTY of times though, whether it be from Cub Scouts, School Field Trips, etc. I'll definitely try to go back to LI to visit the Expo, hope to meet you there sometime!

I'd heard of this show before, but hadn't paid it much mind, but this video's sold me on it! A buddy and I are already talking about going next year. We're outside Ottawa, Canada and it's an 8 hour drive from my place to the museum's front door. The pinball free play alone is worth the trip for us and combine all this with an awesome aviation museum too? Hell yeah!

I was there on Saturday August 10th and it was my third year attending the show. I knew you were gonna be there but for some reason missed you. The show is huge so it's easy to miss stuff. The first year I was there I didn't even realize that they had stuff on the other floors. The museum itself is awesome. I've been going to events held there for over a decade.

I love when cons are in non-convention center spaces. It gives the con such a sense of personality! I believe there are several conventions in the Cradle of Aviation. I've never been, but I have friends who have. And my partner is from LI so he got a bit of a surreal experience seeing your footage from the con.

I grew up over there -- you are right, there is no easy way to walk around the event because of where it's located. A major university, Hofstra, is located there as well, and all of those students were in the same boat. Terrible for college. But the venue is a REALLY need place!

The only teeny-tiny gripe I didn't see is 90s Big Box games for sale. 😭😭 Other than that, you guys look like y'all had a fantastic week on this exhibit. The cradle of aviation is, literally, around the corner from where I work. As a history nerd I go there fairly often. LIRGEX (I think that’s their acronym?) is something that sees signs all the time. I always mean to try and go for one day, perhaps I will finally next year.

Oooh. This venue reminds me of the venue of this local Toy Convention I was at. The convention center was actually an old centrifuge used for training astronauts. The main room is actually the main centrifuge chamber. That was so cool just to walk through

Oh I didn't know the Cradle of Aviation Museum hosted so many events. I once sold art at a comic convention that was held in it. The museum is vary spacious and nicely curated/landscape, its exhibits fit the vibe of a retro gaming convention way more! Also one of the only places on Long Island that didn't give me a headache driving there lol
