Great list Lia. I do need to see Anatomy of a Fall. I’m glad How To Blowup A Pipeline made your honourable mentions. It’s so underrated and was my fav heist/crime caper movie of the year.

How is Missing not on anyone's list? That movie had me on the edge of my seat and it has a well written, intricate plot full of intrigue and twists. That's definitely on my top ten movies of 2023.

Ooo fun set up for a video lia, the film that really surprised me with how much i liked it was talk to me, i thought it was gonna be another like whatever horror movie like smile or truth or dare where it was some kinda gimmick game but it was much more deep and interesting than i first thought

I quite enjoyed the reviews and now each of them has been put on my list of recommendations. The only 2023 films I saw this year were Kelce (Documentary), Across the Spider-Verse, and Extraction 2 which had a 21-minute long single take sequence. I hope you do more movie reviews or recommendations, heck I hope you do some movie reactions even if it's just one. I'm so disappointed that most KZbin reactors don't include Barbie in their top ten movies of 2023. It's my favourite movie of 2023. I've watched it multiple times and it still gives me joy. 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤

At least for me, Barbie was fun, entertaining and colorful, I think what brings it down is the themes and it's comedy not that it's bad but I think the movie fumbles it in those aspects and doesn't quite stick the landing. I personally have it at number 15 out of 176. Also, I think a lot of movies are a lot of good films and not great and it's very competitive.

Lia I like your top 10 better than KZbin movie critic Grace Randolph's, who has no interest in watching Asian movies. Her top 10 didn't include Godzilla Minus One for 2023 or RRR for 2022 because she is dismissive of Asian movies and shows. Can you believe Grace doesn't want to watch Attack on Titan only cuz it's anime that comes from Asia.
