Love watching this bloke. Epitome of blue collar, running big kms and still on the tools. Go fucking get em Liam.

He casually ran 14:44 for the first 5km of this brutal 34km workout in high-altitude and extreme heat conditions...He is an absolute beast.

I agree! His attitude wants me to grab the shoes and hit the road!

Those transitions with Charlotte are bloody textbook. You could see how hot is was with his skin glowing. Nothing us Aussies aren't used to. Thank you so much Matt. He's an absolute 💯 percent good bloke.. Us fellas here in Warrnambool wish him all the best. We'll be watching Sunday.

Need a bonus session with Liam busting out handplants and kickflips on his skateboard. What a beast!

28°C to 31°c are inhumane conditions, he should relax!

Agreed. I once thought I burnt out by overtraining as one week I felt like I was flying and the next I felt like I was stuck to the road. Temps were averaging 32C in Australia and a couple weeks later It got better and I could finally move again. The fact that he is also at altitude, can't imagine.

As a fellow Aussie this was great to watch, its a real shame Liam is a Carlton supporter as id like him much more if he wasnt lol, but hope he has a great run at the olympics and go the Aussies !

Awesome to see him go after such a big effort, mid day at altitude in Flagstaff. Excited to see how he does tomorrow

I’m very proud of Liam’s results at the Olympics. Hard conditions and tough route with the hills. Most of the other athletes would have had a much more privileged lead in to this race.
