We hear this every week, ‘the final ball isn’t good enough’ I don’t think we (Derby) get enough credit for working as a unit. We’ve completely built a side from nothing that is competing in the Championship with a local owner who can’t flash the millions. We haven’t got the quality to hold the ball up, but our main priority at the moment is staying in the Championship.

derby fan here, i thought u knocked it round well without actually doing anything with it. decent point for both teams but i wouldn't say hull are any better than last year under rosenior, up the rams

Gutted for Millar a real spark in the team. I don't know how Bedia can be so good at getting in the right spot and then letting it sail past him, he looks like he needs confidence. Defence is shaping up and taking hold, and for my tuppence Slater should start every game.

felt as soon as Derby scored completely knocked stuffing out of us and the fans. Went flat. Millar massive massive blow

We do not play the ball to our forwards quickly then just pass it back 😅😅

With Millar's unfortunate injury (which i wish him a speedy recovery), and Mehlam and Alzate also injured, this is an opportunity for several players. Why not play Giles as left winger ahead of Drameh, switch Kamara to his favoured right wing and drop Belloumi who had tailed off quite a bit since the recent run of three wins. Giles was brought in for his record of assists with Middlesbrough and this could help with the issue of the final ball, Hull have repeatedly faced. Slater should start every game for me: he's full of energy and tries to get invovled with the attacking play, creating useful overloads on the right.

You can't see games out without a leader on the pitch and we haven't had one for years upon years. (Hopefully Hughes might become that man) Coyle is our captain but nowhere near vociferous or angry enough and thats with his own players, let alone the opposition.

It's not always the final ball though. Yet again quality crosses flash across the face of the goal & city players stand like statues in the box. There's a pattern to every game now & it's not good, by the end I had no Idea who was playing where.

I really like your passion and enthusiasm. But you are too close to it to take an objective view of your club. You expect absolute perfection from your team. It’s totally unrealistic. There is a reason why we are all in the championship and not the champions league. You will give yourself a heart attack. Be a bit happier with what you have got. I worked in Hull in the mid eighties - fourth division club attracting maybe 5000 for home games at an awful ground. You have come a long way - don’t take it all for granted and turn into one of those appalling self-entitled fans we see so many of nowadays.
