Liam Neeson - Silence Exclusive Interview

Stefan Pape from HeyUGuys interviews Director David Frankel for his movie Collateral Beauty which is directed by Martin Scorsese and also stars Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver.
In the interview they discuss working with the iconic director, filming in Asia and facing a real-life earthquake.
Plot: Two 17th-century Portuguese missionaries, Father Sebastian Rodrigues (Andrew Garfield) and Father Francisco Garupe (Adam Driver), embark on a perilous journey to Japan to find their missing mentor (Liam Neeson). While there, the two men minister to the Christian villagers who worship in secret. If caught by feudal lords or ruling samurai, they must renounce their faith or face a prolonged and agonising death.

The movie was very dynamic. Christians are ALWAYS trying to force their religion on other cultures. Christianity is the Baby Religion. I'm a DEVOTE Christian but I'm a History Geek. But--being tested is the true testament of Faith. I think of the Book of Job [which I mispronounced to my Reverend Daddy: rhymed with Rob]. Job endured INCREDIBLE loss but never lost his Faith. Job ended with a new family and wealth beyond his imagination. We cannot undo the past. Cher did a song: 🎵.. If I Could Turn Back Time...🎵 it's like "woulda, coulda, shoulda" in my mind. Everything I've experienced, good, bad, ugly has made me the woman I am today. I have the maturity to realize I'm that little girl who knew what she wanted but everybody tried to tell: "you should be this, you should be that". I don't have that inner turmoil. I know what makes me happy. I know who makes me happy. Therefore, I'm happier than I've ever been in my life at 73. I have an autographed picture from Betty White with her dog, Pontiac. It's on my wall with my family. She said: "I've always had a positive attitude and I learned to laugh at myself". My older neighbors love to see me. I make them laugh joking about myself. I call myself "Jurassic Park--A Hot Senior Citizen". I love Martin & Liam are professionals and perfectionists. They study and execute. It was great fun listening to two people speaking English with a different accent from what I grew up listening to. Great questions! 👊🏾👍🏾
