I was a teenage disk jockey at the soul smoking w.v.oe. 1590 a.m. chadbourn nc around 17. In 1974 I came on the air one Saturday afternoon a blue Cadillac pulled up behind a big pine tree in front of the station parking lot out comes roy.c and the mighty j. Hines I never made it nationally, those guys people had those jukeboxes in that area. On fire .rest peacefully my beautiful soul people. Dj. Ralph the smooth voice "Singletary. We were the station that put wings under Ted golden voice williams.

The Alabama Shakes song “Hold On” has this style guitar work all in it. Not sure if it’s intentional or not but it’s almost undeniable.
