And this why I like Sam better than Elizabeth. Sam and Jason are fighting for their lives to rescue Jake while she is destroying her studio and her art like a petulant child. Everything is always about her and her dreams. Even when she calls herself selfish, she is indulging more in a fit of self indulgence than true repentance.

And what was she going to do? Run into Russian mob territory ? That’s ridiculous. She was destroying her studio because she felt helpless, and the studio is symbolic of everything between her and Jason that ultimately culminated to Jake’s existence.

It's a soap opera, they all split up at some point. This isn't Cinderella. Nobody gets a happy ever after! So my advice is don't think your favorite couple is end game. On a soap opera there is no such thing! Also at some point all soap operas will be a thing of the past. #justsayin
