I noticed @ 8:36, the first officer pushes the condition lever to max while the captain simultaneously pulls the power levers to "DISC." Can anyone give me a brief explanation on this please.

+Aaron Dowden It's basically to slow the aircraft down once the nose-wheel is on the ground. If the propellers are placed in "DISC" Or "Beta Range" in flight, a loud alarm will go off. The DISCING Detent allows the pilot to have full control of the propeller blade angle, the purpose is to flatten the blade angle on the ground that is. This reduces forward motion, you won't want to be in the air.. without forward motion now, would we? This also helps a lot during taxi, most landings, the power is brought back to DISC, this is enough to slow the aircraft down, you obviously have times where reserves is needed, but DISC detent usually does the job most the times. I hope you understand! Thanks for watching, Mark.

Thank you, but I was more referring to the condition levers... Normally they are placed to max while the plane is still flying, but in this video, they were pushed simultaneously while the power levers were pulled to beta

Oh. That's just normal procedure, landing was done at Minimum RPM (900). Some landings are done at Min depending on weather conditions etc. But just normal procedure, I'm not sure if there is anything mechanic behind it.
