Excellent review. One of our favorite recommendations for Midwest riders who aren't into park.

Thanks for the review. In the video you said you have compared it to lib rig, gnu antigravity and bsod. Can you share your thought on its differences?

No problem. I put a link to the Patreon vid where I did share my thoughts/differences but I have several additional takes on Patreon as well. www.patreon.com/c/thegoodride.

I currently ride a proto type two 2017, but I'm looking for something a little more relaxed. I live in New York so I got hard snow. Any suggestions? I was thinking this one based on your favorites for icy snow / hard snow. Just looking to ride down the resort mountains here and carve it up but have a very stable ride.

This would not be more relaxed. The Type Two is much more forgiving and has an easier flex on snow than the Dynamo. If you want a chill ride with good grip go with the Terrain Wrecker. The camber profile is similar to what you have now but it's a more chill, a little more directional ride vs. what you have now but with more grip. If you want mellow but with full camber the Gnu Antigravity could work too. If you want to get into it more, hit me here to give me the info I need to help you much better. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

5.5 175 pounds without gear on would u reccomend a 153 or a 156...i dont do park anymore im 49 but i still enjoy bombing blues and blacks ..just picked up a 154 algorythym but looking to add a libtech board to the quiver also...

Boot size? Most important when sizing a board.
@stevenshaughnessy73915 күн бұрын
8-8.5 depending on boots im wearing

153 would be a good compliment for hard snow and harder carving.

@@thegoodridesnow awesome thanks ..i thought the 156 would be in my range since im 185-90 in gear but if you think a 153 would work better then ill go look for that ..thanks again

Yeah it could work but if you have a 154 algo and like it the 153 Dynamo will be a better fit. It's much more aggressive/technical/feels like more board than the Algo. Especially for 8-8.5 boots. Remember to always size for your boots first, weight second and height a distant 3rd.

I have owned a bunch of lib techs and gnu and it seams to me they have fallen behind the other major brands. Heavy with slow bases. Maybe it's just m🤷♂️

Thanks for your take. Don't agree with the weight but I do agree on the bases.

Lib tech bases and magnetraction hold me back from riding one.

I have about 20 days on my dynamo this year… seems like a very underrated sleeper. Heavy boards are stable and precise off piste.

Agreed @en5954 and other than the base its quite a fun ride.

@@thegoodridesnow yeah I have been adding wax weekly to the sections of the board by the edges.
