I am actually lost for words about this mash-up. I am currently dealing with a life-changing situation right now, and this song is exactly what I need. Being a Liam Okane fan since the 90s, he never failed to make me cry a little, whenever he sings the high notes. For me, he was the best treble soloist Libera ever had.
Now back to crying

It’s my firm belief that Liam O’Kane began the Libera ideal - breaking out of the mould of choirboy singing, and using your natural gifts to bring songs to life. Prior to him, I felt St Philip’s Boys Choir/Angel Voices sounded like your run-of-the-mill boys choir. Liam brought something different to choral singing; something not confined by traditions and staid protocols, and for Rob Prizeman that opened up new ways of performing and possibilities were endless. I would love to see the current crop of Libera boys perform for the young men who helped Rob lay the foundations for them.

At the Nine Lessons and Carols at St Phillips last year the current boys were singing, but with Ben Crawley, Josh Madine, Liam Connery and I think Liam O'Kane joining them. The wonderful thing is that most if not all Libera "boys" from long ago seem to be contactable by the Choir and can come and take part. See Robert Prizeman's Memorial Service as an example, where so many recogisable names took part.

@weatherboi We don't know if he is still singing with the "big" choir (St. Philip's Choir) back in South London. But obviously Liam O'kane (LOK) is not a member of the touring choir (Libera) anymore. LOK is now in his late 20s.
