Love it! Great video. I have a regular 2015 i8, that gets a ridiculous amount of attention, can only imagine what this would be like! Love the rear view! I find a lot of people don't know what it is, but still creates interest.

Ive had mine since early May, snd still really enjoying it, I'm usually one to change cars quite often, but find the i8 does everything so well, very cheap to run, whilst being quick enough to enjoy. I've not been on the classifieds for a while. I find it does feel quicker than the numbers suggest, it seems to be the boost from the motors.

@@CarChatTV I find it use it more than I thought I would, it seems to get between 14-17 miles on a charge, which isn't great ,but enough to pop to the shops and back, or driving through towns. Nice to pop it across into sport mode with a favourite bit of road comes along, will gain some miles of electric too which is a bonus!

It’s all liberty walk build body kit and a stage one map. We filmed it a while ago. But it’s pretty much a Liberty walk kit which includes air suspension too. Thanks for the comment 🤗

why is this car back on sale at the same place for £78'000!!!! Thats crazy... Its the plastic kit (they didn't go for the carbon fibre one) This can all be done yourself if you order the kit and everything and it will still come around 10-15k cheaper... Great car but they've lost the plot... You can get an i8 for around 40 - 45k with half the milage. Add the bits on (no way more than 20k and thats being very generous) and you have one. So weird...

Hey Shizzio, you make a good point. I’m not sure what happened to the car after it was sold🤷🏻‍♂️ from our video. They seem to have got it back now don’t they. Liberty walk is the company that do the body kits. But there are not many around of the bmw I8. Think there are 3 in Europe. But this one sold pretty quick. Let me know if you get one 👍🏽

How much would it cost to wrap one of these in black? I've been looking at these and they are around £45k. Couldn't decide if preferred Or White, however, after seeing a few wrapped in Black, they look so much better!

I’m not sure how much it would cost. But wrapping should be similar cost to a respray maybe a little bit more because of application . But obviously a wrap can keep the original colour underneath. I would get some quotes and see what’s about. They do look great in black 👌🏽
