Talking about how people are surprised with the way you guess the characteristics of those characters after precisely guessing Netzach's whole personality is immaculate
You could say that Netzah cannot be arsed to do things, but mostly though he's too demotivated. And yet, he healed enough to have some hope; he's also somewhat of an artistic type, in state of constant insobriety - struggling to be active but locked on when needing to. His floor's specialty is mostly outlasting enemies endurance. You cannot beat him on this game :'D. Malkuth wouldn't be his counterpart - that would be Hod, actually! One who learnt selflessness genuine. Shy and helpful, caring for helping othes as a good guide; a focus on those below rather than those above. Malkuth's difficult to pinpoint, since she's so disorganized and general; she takes responsibility and stands proud, managing around with high energy and zeal. She sometimes trips over being chaotic, but she doesn't see it as a flaw anymore, instead, accepting it as a fuel to try harder. If you ever are curious if you are correct - on the names pronounciation or their personallity - i suggest a little game: simply google their name on wikipedia. They're all named after Sephirot - kaballah, not the ffvii one - and their once lost strengths shine through.

Malkuth is driven by the need and urge to be in control of everything that goes on around her. Not in a manipulative or selfish way, but she feels best when things go smoothly for her. She used to be very impulsive and naive but by the time she reincarnated into Malkuth, she learned taking things slow and safe wins the race. Netzach is depressed. An alcoholic. A drug user. He’s a very kind soul but life has been anything but kind to him. He REALLY hates his job since it includes watching others get hurt. He used to cope with this by looking away and drinking or injecting his problems away. He’s now recovering and trying to not run away from the problem anymore, instead being an activist for better safety of others around him.

interesting that you put these two together because their music was paired in their first game: Red Dots(Malkuth) and Blue Dots(Netzach).
@eggseed65433 ай бұрын
These themes are for the floors you choose to play with. In the game you can choose a floor to fight with, and these you just heard are malkuth's and netzach floors. Each have 3 variations for 3 emotion levels.

You probably won't see this, but Malkuth and Netzach are not bosses, these are the themes for when you pick to play their floors. Every floor has a different playstyle and theme. Netzach is the patron librarian of the Floor of Art, and Malkuth the Floor of History. Chesed, Binah, Hokma, Hod, Yesod, Gebura and Tiphereth are also patron librarians of different floors. In short, these themes are not for bosses.

So. To explain your questions. Malkuth and Netzach are not bosses, but two more playable characters you use. Both have a similar issue with their circumstances. Neither want to participate in killing people, something very necessary. Malkuth, an incredibly driven and upbeat (to an unhealthy degree) woman has deigned to steel herself and push forward, making it through this trial and reaching the happy ending. Netzach, a formerly-suicidal drug addict has deigned to wallow in the misery. Never wanting to kill his opponents, but always being forced into these life-or-death duels at the behest of his 'master.' He drowns his sorrow in sleep and alcohol. Both have serious issues with their circumstances, and take very different stances on how to cope with it. Netzach DOES parallels Malkuth a little, but he more specifically parallels Hod, who he activistly has a relationship with. Malkuth, on the other hand, is more a mirror to Yesod, from the previous video.

I call it "Infinite horizons" Malkuth is a hopeless optimist. She is cheery, and thrives for challenge from any place she can get it. People see two-facedness or biased stupidity in her unchanging smile even in despair and in her constant biting more than she could chew. In fact, despite her unlimited eagerness, she's not very capable at all. But she is not to blame - she is just the way she is. She does serve a purpose, and every time she succeeds at seemingly impossible tasks, she proves it. She might fail at simplest things, but she can do *anything*! And I believe it's something we all should incorporate a little in our lives as well - standing up for a trial in face of certain failure. I call it "With its goods and its hangovers" Nutsack [n e ts a kh] is just tired. For him, the entire life was misery. Even before that time he volunteered to feel pain every single second for months on end, he felt like life had no purpose. And immediately afterwards being forced to engage in heavy mental activity, being forced to deal with loss and mourning, he considered his life hell. Yet... he is now convinced otherwise. It takes certain kind of strength to keep on living. To accept life fully, with its pains, losses, crimes and general dissatisfactions. But it does not mean that life is not worth living because of them. My close second favourite, almost tied with Cheese-hat.

Ooo, I hope you get a chance to also review the Sephirot Suppression themes from Lobotomy Corporation! Think of it as sort of the “origin stories” of each of the Sephirot, however, I can’t say they always match up with the character themselves at times
@god48623 ай бұрын
I am amazed at how you hit the nail on the head with guessing the character's personality every time. You should listen to the boss themes of these same characters from their previous game lobotomy corpiration. These versions are incredibly different from the library soundtrack, and reveal a different side of these characters. They are called sephirah meltdowns.

I'm no expert but Net-zarck is definitely closer! While there's no official english pronounciation of the names in-universe, I believe in the Hebrew these names come from the ch sound is actually more like a low 'h', kind of like a growl at the back of the throat.

When you spoke of contraries/counterparts, these characters do have a list of contrary relations. Malkuth's would be Yesod. Hod's would be Netzach. Tiphereth's would be Keter (or Da'at ig, but in this series, Da'at is there but invisible/represented in Keter) Gebura's would be Chesed. Binah's would be Hokma.

Librarian Floors checklist: Kether ✅ Hokma 🛑 Binah ✅ Gebura ✅ Tiphereth 🛑 Chesed 🛑 Netzach ✅ Hod ✅ Yesod ✅ Malkuth ✅ After all of these are done then we can get to The Reverberation Ensemble, and the distorted version of it

I think for Malkuth you're decently wrong, as far as I'm aware while she tries to put on a face of confidence Malkuth really is riddled with self-doubt from her past, I couldn't ever place her as unbothered because her anxiety will always bother her, though she does make a good show of confidence. Netzach was really spot on though, local drug man gets along with people because authority figures are too strict is almost his entire character. In terms of them being opposites, I don't know about optimism & pessimism but in terms of productive & lazy? I think Malkuth, while she's getting better was never a beam of sunshine about her work. Especially now while Malkuth pieces together how she feels about her new situation. On the other hand I think Netzach is a little more optimistic nowadays? He's never a beam of sunshine because he's too deep in the booze but he is very much a solid rock to lean on nowadays. He has high (relative) hopes that things will work out in the end.
