The country was anti-semitic, look for yourself: 1. In Libya a home is considered a natural human right In Gaddafi’s Green Book it states: ”The house is a basic need of both the individual and the family, therefore it should not be owned by others”. Gaddafi’s Green Book is the formal leader’s political philosophy, it was first published in 1975 and was intended reading for all Libyans even being included in the national curriculum. 2. Education and medical treatment were all free Under Gaddafi, Libya could boast one of the best healthcare services in the Middle East and Africa. Also if a Libyan citizen could not access the desired educational course or correct medical treatment in Libya they were funded to go abroad. 3. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project The largest irrigation system in the world also known as the great manmade river was designed to make water readily available to all Libyan’s across the entire country. It was funded by the Gaddafi government and it said that Gaddafi himself called it ”the eighth wonder of the world”. 4. It was free to start a farming business If any Libyan wanted to start a farm they were given a house, farm land and live stock and seeds all free of charge. 5. A bursary was given to mothers with newborn babies When a Libyan woman gave birth she was given 5000 (US dollars) for herself and the child. 6. Electricity was free Electricity was free in Libya meaning absolutely no electric bills! 7. Cheap petrol During Gaddafi’s reign the price of petrol in Libya was as low as 0.14 (US dollars) per litre. 8. Gaddafi raised the level of education Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans were literate. This figure was brought up to 87% with 25% earning university degrees. 9. Libya had It’s own state bank Libya had its own State bank, which provided loans to citizens at zero percent interest by law and they had no external debt. 10. The gold dinar Before the fall of Tripoli and his untimely demise, Gaddafi was trying to introduce a single African currency linked to gold. All of these things were anti-semitic.

yep, and you know what's worse, the only reason they intervened was for oil. they overthrew the only democratic government in the world(bureaucracy impeach people, only with gadafi's green book can the people have access to true democracy) only to take over a oil rich region under the excuse that "they owned it during colonial time so it's fine to take it by force now". like seriously howcould one attack in 1978 a sovereign state just to take its oil like if it were medieval time . thank god they had support from france the us and zaire, otherwise by now they'd be a puppet state. though we should also congratulate the chadian resisting from a bigger and stronger country like that. I find it horrifying that the west didn't talk about it on tv at the time and that they still aren't, like how could such horrible ruler decide to destroy another country and still be looked up by all the continent. personnally I'll never forget what happened in 1978 and I'll never forgive gadafi for waging war against chad in order to get oil.

Libya was a Utopia of Africa under Gaddafi. Education, Medical, Electricity were all free. He constructed the world's largest man made pipeline to supply water for the dry parts of Libya. He wanted to make a currency, the Gold Dinar, that all African nations used that potentially can rival the Dollar and even make African countries rich. NATO airstrikes struct the water pipeline, causing thousands upom thousands of people water shortages. Now its in ruin. Why did we let this happen again? Why did we allow the U.S into Syria? Syria was fine under Assad but then they unleashed Assad's anger. He has no choice and knows that Syria will become like Iraq and Libya if theres no government controlling it.

Either way Gaddafi would’ve lost as the French would’ve intervened anyways on the side of the rebels, the US just came along. For once I think Libya was going to be civil war anyways due to the Arab spring. Also a lot of factions hated Gaddafi. Edit: what I mean Libya’s fate was already sealed with UN resolution 1973 so guaranteed there would’ve been intervention no matter what

The US should have never gotten involved, but gadaffi wasn’t perfect. The Libyan people were unhappy with him because he delayed and eliminated elections to stay in power. Nevertheless, he was a relatively good leader despite being pretty crazy and Libya was far better off under Gadaffi than it is now. End point: The US should have left Libya alone. The NATO assistance of Libyan rebels is a clear example of American Imperialism. Even Barack Obama, the one who supported the total destruction of Libya’s government, says that getting involved with Libya was the worst “mistake” he ever made. Of course, he knew what would happen, it wasn’t a mistake. The civil war, however, was bound to happen regardless, but it was a civil matter for the country to decide, not imperialistic outside powers like NATO and the United States. So Gadaffi was pretty alright, but he was no saint. Not even close.

Libya was the best country of Africa... Gaddafi fought against the America Banks... They tried to make a single coin made of gold for all of Africa, by that way, America couldn't control Africa's banks.

The USA was just one of the numerous imperialist powers funding this atrocity of a war. Don’t take away blame from Germany, The UK, Canada, France, and so on.
