I think there are FAR worse things to focus on than some billboard that is saying something that is just trying to let people know about Jesus. I definitely do not agree that this billboard diminishes what God is saying. Like I say, there are far worse things going on in society than a billboard such as this. I think there are a lot of Christians that are getting pretty nit-picky about things that are still trying to spread a Christian message.

Is he saying that we just need to recognize that Jesus Christ died on cross, and we are a new self and even though our old self continues to sin! Sounds like some “good news,” we can continue in sin and we get to go to heaven! Hate to sounds confused but wow I should have sinned along time ago and now I fill condemned even thinking of transgressing against the law. Help me with 1 John 2:8 where it’s says he that commits sin is of the devil: and shall not have eternal life. Help because am truly confused?

E B are you a sinner? Am not sure but not really trying to debate! I like his message and his teachings sounds good, make me feel like I can continue in sin but really am just seeking more understanding! I believe that you cannot be a new self if am willing to stay being in sinner, fornication, adultery, covet, hate my brother, etc...and still call myself holy. I got out of an adulterous relationship because am a new creature. I am not perfect but I find peace in letting God through his grace, and though long suffering that I might be perfected. I don’t understand everything but his teaching is not narrow, it’s wide...that everyone that simply believes that in Jesus and that he died for our sins, and we are a new creature. What about repentance? Jesus told the adulterous lady that was about to be stone to death that I neither condemn you and to go and SIN NO MORE” so why would He her that if he knew she really couldn’t not do it? So if we are to know that we cannot be sinless so we should not even try? I believe a lot of what he his saying because it’s hard to be sinless...but by faith I believe I can and am. I pray that God keeps me from temptation, so that my flesh will not give in but when am tempted I get joy when I overcome sin. So I have perfected not being an adulterous, even in my thoughts, they have been brought to subjection! Again it’s to many places in the Bible where I know where Jesus wanted to destroy sin and if He died so that we may continue in sin just doesn’t sound like truth! But if it is am not taking that chance I will continue to be sinless thorough Love, and not ever think that I can’t truly be a new creature in God!

When we as believers begin to understand the scriptures through Divine personal leading and not through schisms(religious institutions), we will embrace what the word teaches. Mans problem with himself is, "being made right with God". Job 29:4 ask the questions, "How can man be justified (made right) with God or how can he that is born of a woman be clean?" Job didn't have the answer, but in Messiah the answer is found. Holiness, perfection, rightness, justification, are all religious terms that we are familiar with, but we are ignorant of how it is that God can gift a sinner with all of this, even if he stumbles and fall. Do you realize that you are complete because of him? Col. 2:10. You are not complete because of your performance, but because of his......this is in a nutshell the story of grace............amazing grace. My friend I would encourage you to embrace the new self in Messiah(the new indwelling Divine life of Christ) Rom. 8:9, and rest in his complete and all sufficient work of dying and resurrecting on the cross so that you might be able to experience abundant living. When you have received the new divine nature of God, trust me, you'll never be comfortable living a life outside of what this new life is ordained to be. Yeah, you may continue to stumble, but because of what he provides you through new indwelling life, you still belong to him. I declare that Grace is greater than any sin that you suppose you are trapped or hedged by......."Were sin abounds, grace does much more abound". Shalom!

Ephesians 4 is fantastic and very clear. You WERE like the gentiles. Do not live like them anymore. Their thoughts are FUTILE. Their minds are dark. Their hearts are HARD. They lost sensitivity because they GAVE THEMSELVES over to sensuality impurity and greed. You have learned a better way. WHEN you heard of Christ. You WERE taught to put off the old way and put on the new way. To be made NEW in your minds. No more darkness. You are light so act like it. You are holy so act like it. You have been made perfect so act like it.
