Remember when we were warned about addressing global warming, but were told it was too expensive to make changes? Welll take a look at this... is it still expensive? The deck is stacked against you. One way or another insurance companies will get paid. They will make record profits. If they can't make that happen, they will just pick up and leave. The Government should intervene and provide insurance coverage at a profitable, buit reasonable rate. This will stop insurance companies from jacking up their prices.
@kawikajones94368 сағат бұрын
The government is never the solution. Keep thinking that way and they will eventually, totally own you. As for the man made hoax of "man" caused global warming. Still isn't one past model that has been proven true. You are being sold a bill of goods. Follow the money and see who is profiting on all these "Green" programs! Hint: Look at your own government officials to start with. Demand to see their financial/bank records. Instead of man trying to change the climate, we need to adapt to what's coming. Climate change happens in cycles and we are at the end of the last ice age so yes, it will be getting warmer but you won't be around when it is even 2 degrees hotter (world temps) than it is now. You nor your children nor grandchildren nor your grandchildren's grandchildren also won't be around when the seas rise a foot higher than they are now.

A phased in approach is something I would recommend for Florida, such as 10-30 % equity increase per year for each unit until condo reserves are at required levels, with 5 year max time to bring reserves to req level. For insurance allowing the option for no master policy could be allowed, imo, with increased reserves for major repairs…. I have more ideas than most lawmakers 😂😂

Drowning en masse. Conceptualizing the tangible reasons for the drastic siphoning is difficult to understand. Conceptualizing insurance and risk management/distribution is also a hard sell to cognitively accept. I'm legit having cognitive dissonance. What kind of quality of life is there in the marketed pitch is get or be privy to insurance whims when there is no seeming benefit? Like, you're actually suffering in housing insecurity in the name of managing risk? There is no win-win in this scenario. It feels more like a bait and switch. You're sold this societal dream of home ownership and a sense of security, and then you find that the actual impact and return on investment is potential homelessness. It's not even benign delusion. Bait and switch much? Like I was sold a false product and false promise? Is this fraud in the legal sense? Was there informed consent? Why does this smell like 2008?
