We had those clovers in our yard growing up...the leaves are edible, and sour, we used to eat them as kids...the leaves and flowers "close" at night and then reawaken in the day and they come back every year. I'd love to pick some up. The ones we had growing up had bright pink flowers. Dinner looks yummy!

You guys must be right for each other to drive from Yorba Linda to Malibu all the time. I use to live in brea. I drove southern calif freeways for 18 years and know how long it takes to get there. I was a phone man. I drove all over. Santa Maria to Diego to Palm Springs, Bakersfield you name it I been there. I got fed up with it and moved to Oregon 30 years ago and love it. If you guys get a chance go to Brea,s best. Best cheese burgers onion ring and shake you will find. Beats in and out
