George Lucas is a good man. People can dislike his films or the decisions he made with his films over the years, but the man isn’t a bad guy. Many seem to make it as if he’s literally Satin, which is ridiculous. There are far worse people in the film world than George Lucas and if making changes to his films and not being interested in releasing the original cuts of the OT due to him being disappointed with them as well as people not enjoying the choices he made when making the Prequels are the worse things he has done, I‘d say he’s in good shape.

I always have and always will continue to love George's unique and creative authorship and stylistic choices and decisions because everything was in service to telling a honest and purposeful story and I've never had an issue with any of it or was ever swayed by any of the dogma (not to mention was never aware that there was this moronic stigma and forced manufactured hate towards it until relatively recently about 2 years back) Anyways, not marketing gimmicks, no pleasing mindless fanboys, no industry studio bs meddling. None of that shit 💯 the fact remains whether dumbass fanboys like it or not, George IS Star Wars. He has every right to do and make whatever decision he wants with the story and everything. I will always appreciate and understand his complete saga. And no one will EVER "convince" me that the prequels aren't a profound, compelling, highly entertaining work of art as well as the ot. On top of the fact that George is such a wholesome standup kindof guy.

And then you have these people that think “Marcia Lucas Saved Star Wars in The Edit.” Which is bull. No offense to his Ex-Wife, but she’s isn’t all that great. She might’ve been a good editor, but she didn’t “save” Star Wars with her edit. That’s just a misconception from fans that just wanna say “Well George would’ve made the film bad, so he brought in Marcia to help him.” One part of true, but that first part, nah. That’s just people wanting to say he’s a bad filmmaker when they’ve never done film before.
