solesearched So anybody else that is not completly crazy and lifes a normal life is a bad person? I think its the other way around. By helping birds to grow more and more in the middle of nyc you are even responsible for more pain! The more birds you have in that big city the more accidents with those birds you will have. Its sad but thats the truth.

How nice is this place! I rescued a baby bird that was halfway out of its shell but couldn't find a bird rescue place where I live. Too bad there aren't more places like this. The baby bird died so my daughter and I buried it in a jewelry box and gave it a funeral...poor birdie.

Debra Yorke I can quarentee you that even from those ones that where "saved" as soon as they are released in to the "nature" of nyc 80% will die in the next couple of weeks. There is no way a bird like an eagle could normally survive in such a big city. I know its sad. But it want get better.

You cant be serious! Its because animals dont have developed like we have. If an Wild animal is so badly hurt that it would die anyway in nature, it would just make sence to ease it for them. Also in some countrys like mine you can actually say that if you are so bad hurt that only maschines can hold you alive, you are allowed to pass away. And nobody is stopping you from going sucidal or? If they find out they will try to convince you to not do it. But if you want. Sure go ahead. No Animal can make this decisions because they cant understand life as we do. But now probably you come at me as most vegans do. You will say that animals do feel the same like we and that they understand anything thats going on around them. Regardless of thousands and thousands of studies and real facts showing otherwise...

Most animals (especially mammals and birds) probably develop an intellectual level similar to that of a normal human child or even young teenager. But then most humans stay on an intellectual level of a child or early teenager even if they grow into adult hood. We grant people responsibility and autonomy. And yet any emotion most people think as unique to humans only (like love, sadness, joy, etc.) have been around long before the dawn of the naked ape.

What the hell? Not even close! o_O No animal on this whole world has anything close to the brain of a human! Let allone the intellect. We humans can enjoy art, we know what life really is. We know how to build objects that reach out deep into our universe. Animals live on instinct. Any pet you own stays with you for 2 things! Food and because its breeded and trained to do this. We humans know so many more things then any other animal on this whole planet. Even most ape species are more intelligent then birds. You have a really twisted mind going on there. I did NOT say that some animals dont have emotions! I said that they dont understand those things like we do. The really funny thing is that i could predict any single word you are saying. Its like reading in a book about religion!
