I am commissioning this coming Spring as a 13N. I wanted this job and I had it as #1 on my dream sheet. I am super excited to be a part of this. And I hope when I am done with tech school to be assigned to Malmstrom!

I tried volunteering for nuclear missile stuff but the guy never texted back so I started making my own nuclear missiles haha

Better do something else on those 4 days you have off in order to build your OPR or you will not get promoted. If you are the senior crew in DOV or DOT, you got a chance but other wise, get another job too. Good luck.

One of the worst o-afscs that exists, only slight upside is the possibility of pursuing a masters during your stint and getting out of the chair force asap - enjoy that extra $10/day though...
