My newborn is 5 weeks! I tried him on a schedule but as you said it was working at first then all of a sudden he regressed from it with colicky symptom. I read that newborns can only stay awake happily for 45 minutes but was told that really isn’t true. I was advised that the schedule wasn’t working because I was trying to force him to sleep when he just wasn’t tired so now I stretch it to 1 hr and half during the day and that seems to work better. Sometimes he stays up sometimes he doesn’t. Bedtime is 9pm and wake up at 7am everyday. Also my newborn is going through this witching hour faze. He’s up at 5 all the the way to bed time constantly cluster feeding!!! But the dr says it’s normal until 7 weeks 🤷‍♀️ also love you and your content! 😍

It's basically a hormonal disorder that affects womens' period cycles, makes it harder for them to get pregnant, and also causes a lot of other symptoms. Currently, there is no cure, but you can get treatment that helps. You should ask your mom for more details if you're interested. I don't think you'd want to learn about this stuff from the internet. It can give the wrong info, and make things seem scarier than it actually is.

Proud to be Muslim Have your mom take you to a female doctor to be screened, and have your questions answered for this early, so you will know if you can have children after you graduate from college and get married. I was diagnosed in my later 20’s and never was able to have kids, even with the medications for it. Most PCOS patients either never have kids, or it takes a long time. Meds and very invasive tests adds mental stress and pressure every month thinking you will get lucky and the meds will work.Take care, hun.

The newborn phase is always the hardest, and don’t worry about a schedule too much but have more have a routine/ I know it drew me crazy when I would try to have my baby on a schedule and it didn’t go as planned. Once I followed his lead more, a routine fell in place more/ anyways you look lovely as always😊

Don't be so hard on yourself about the schedule. I was so worried that my little wouldn't get the hang of a schedule, but my husband and I were consistent... it didn't always look like what the book promised some days, but now she sleeps for 11-12 hours a night and a 1:15- 1:30 nap. Some days she is off because of sickness or teething or... who knows what's going on! Keep up the good work and don't stress. I wish I had stressed less. God bless you and your family.

Wow, I normally don’t watch these types of videos but I had a moment when you were talking about showers. I can really relate, I remember crying because I couldn’t take them everyday. Hygiene is so important, but when your partner works and is also tired, it’s hard to schedule it in. Especially when your family lives in another state. You can observe what the baby wants for a few days. Then make a schedule for the day according to how the baby acts/is. I am not a mom but an older sister of a year old. I look after him sometimes to help my mom. And hope this helps😊

Loved this. I can totally relate. We go with a baby led routine. I remember reading somewhere that your baby is the only one who can let you know that shes hungry or needs something. Also with baby, my house keeping standards have dropped and I'm learning to be ok with that for now. Dont be too hard on yourself. And make time everyday or often to do something you enjoy. Xx
