Thank you so much for being so transparent. There are so many videos on yt guiding us through the USMLE process, but nobody talks about how life is after you get there. Videos like these help us a build a realistic picture in our head and really bursts that fantasy bubble that we have about the american dream, and would help us in adjusting better instead of feeling disappointed. And as always - grass is greener on the other side. Wish you lots of love and happiness 💖

During my rotations, definetly there was this feeling of overusing the resources, sometimes it felt we did more with less, here they do more but with a lot more.

Can you provide us with a checklist of things to do before leaving college that cannot be done afterward, such as research and observership programs? My college is arranging one, so should I go ahead and participate in it? A checklist would be useful

My sister is doing her PG in medicine from a govt medical college in India. She's in a central college and paid a lakh per month with a fees of 5k per year.. so in govt college you end up saving ALOT. Also, how many years is PG there? Like here it's 3 years irrespective of the branch. What about there?

I have completed my mbbs a year back and I will be getting married to an H1B holder by next year. Can you suggest in demand career options other than residency that I could pursue? It would be of great help since you’re in the system you would know the reality of the job demand in healthcare and associated fields. Thank you!!

hi i wanted to pursue usmle but i’m not sure if i want to get into internal medicine. i’ve never seen an indian mbbs graduate who got matched into anything other than internal medicine and yes ik it’s hard to even get matched at all but are there other options to get matched into, for someone who’ll graduate from mbbs in india? i would love to hear suggestions of residency programs with chances similar to get matched into as internal medicine, for an indian img

100 dollars per day salary per day , that’s like 8k per day and 2.4 lakh per month . As consultant US docs get paid around 5 times of how they get paid in residency . Nearly 500-600 dollars per day ,amounting to 20k per month . Life time earning of 10 millions ( inflation adjusted ) . Hope it helps

Simple Answer sister ---> The doctor's profession is no longer as good as the public was led to believe. If you can afford to study outside of the country. There are also too many difficulties & issues there. There is no longer any scope for MBBS in India or Pakistan.
