Becky you are a remarkable young woman! You have a very wise head on young shoulders and you certainly know what’s important in life. You’re very intelligent and you have the ability, drive and focus to achieve anything you want to plus you have the support of a very proud loving family. As you know I love watching your channel for all the reasons I’ve said and I’ve also said that you are an inspiration to everyone, young and old! There are so many people that could learn a lot from you and your channel. I will end by saying that I, for one, would be very proud and honoured to have a daughter like you. Congratulations on reaching 10,000subs. You fully deserve that and much more.

Thanks Becky having only just found you I found this interesting. Particularly as I am both a keen cyclist motorcyclist and recently fishing. Its only taken me 71 years to realise how wonderful fishing is. As you said life flies by. If you ever want inspiration to become a motorcycle traveller look up Itchy Boots like you a young lady with spirit. Going to now have to find your dad's channel.

Hi want to start by thanking you for a great video. Started myself very young to be fascinated by nature and quickly became attached to the whole concept of being out and living out in nature, started as a scout trained me as a leader and has had so much fun and been to camp with 36 thousand scouts from all over the world . Am 41 today and am still out as often as I have time for it. Good luck with everything.
@bushcraftnorthof60126 жыл бұрын
You've got quite the life story already, for such a young person. It's nice to live the life you want to. But it's good you learned from all your past experiences as well. I know where you are coming from. I used to race cross country and a little bit of enduro, and dabbled in road. Really wanted to race BMX but no scene where I grew up. I didn't persue it as hard as you did, but many riding friends and co competitors did and still do. It's their whole life! And seeing the kids on development teams and whatnot, it's something that controls their whole lives. It's great if they love it, but some are pushed into it, and regardless, it's good to be well rounded and exposed to other things. It's also important to not get burned out. I lived and breathed MTB. Was a bike mechanic, sold bikes, organized rides, led groups, volunteered in organizations, did trail work and even met my wife riding. I raced hard, commuted by bike, and rode four seasons. And I started to dislike it. But, as I wrongly used it to identify who I was, it felt like rejecting who I was to leave it behind. My body finally really started to complain, though, with overuse injuries and multiple bad wrecks. And I needed to go back into the woods. So, I stopped riding, quit working at the shop, traded my bike for a rifle and dove in deeper into bushcraft. It's very rewarding, and there's no performance peak, like sports can have. You have your whole life to learn more and more. Google Mors Kohanski. He's a Canadian bushcraft icon. He's the grand daddy. And he's spent his whole life accumulating skills and knowledge. You can see him on Karamat Ways KZbin channel. Keep doing what you love, specially if it's good and wholesome. Congratulations on 10k subscribers, too. Love the crow! We had one for a bit as kids. Very smart animals. Take care.

Ah wow! You must of been into cycling a lot also, glad to know someone knows where i am coming from. Cycling becomes your life instead of a hobby or a bit of fun, i did enjoy my years doing it but im glad i quit and now looking for more in life. Aha that's cool, think that was a good idea :) Will have to look that youtuber up. Thank you very much, cor you had a crow and cycled, you sure we aren't the same person aha! Take care and thanks for sharing

Hello from New Zealand. I like your videos. So many people have well ordered lives and feel discomfort all to easily. In New Zealand we call 'hiking ' Tramping (the Brits called it that right up until the forties ) the word came out with the pioneers and stayed. In 2021 I did 67 'tramps' ,most were day tramps but also some 5 day ones. I have the time and would not want to do anything else. Over here we have huge forests and is a real test of bush craft, many think that they can do it until you drop them off into the NZ bush for 7 days. and they don't see a road or people in all they time. I am sure that you would do very well, You would know by now that 'going bush' keeps you sane in these mad times. Keep it up and one day if you come out this way the mountains and bush will be waiting. Keep the videos coming.

When I was growing up (80s) my father, brother and I raced track and road. We would ride and race on the weekends. I went to private school and would ride at least 25 miles a day I remember how hard it was. I would be very tired after my ride and would need to shower, eat and do homework. I would be so tired in the mornings. It was rewarding but a truly grueling lifestyle. I still have my very first road bike, it's a Lotus. Still ride it to this day even though it's a 19" frame 😂. My father is 79 and is in great shape because of his passion for cycling. For those of you who don't know much about cycling, for Becky to win on a national level means she was a tremendous athlete! Thank you for sharing, what a wonderful surprise to learn about your cycling career! 🔥🤙🏼
