@@b1gzy786 i am not of kurdish descent ... jewish kurds and assyraics in iran speak aramic ,not the kurdish language -kurmanji.which means we are both of semitic heritage ,not kurdish .jews lived in babylon(iraq, iran and parts of syria)since ancient times.in the times of the romans jews were the majority of the inhabitants of todays israel(and the first name of the province was judea, till the romans renamed it "palestina " after the jews revolted) .the jews had large populations in egypt(mostly alexandria )and provinkia syria and they caused large problems for the romans in what is known as kitos war(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitos_War).after the revolt jews remained the majority of the inhabitants in israel, but they had special taxations targeting them.after the empire turned christian the persecution increased. so jews moved to different diasporas .doesnt mean they aint all jews.you had vast diaspora of greeks in all parts of the world -in greece ,in turkey(constantinopole was a greek city) ,in russia and the black sea,in alexandria of egypt(greek name ,after great alexander) ,in sicily(still has parts that speak greek) and of course ,cyprus .they all greek and speak greek and most practice the greek orthodox variant of christianity. you have roma people across europe and the middle east.you have roma people in the balkans ,in spain ,in iran,in turkey and many other places.they all speak roma language and share the same culture. and arabs?they originated from whats now saudi arabia and spread all the way to north africa and even spain... so whats the problem with having diaspora? just because my grandparents were jews living in kurdistan doesnt mean they are kurdish . me speaking english doesnt make me british and doesnt make britian my homeland...

For those saying "this is stolen Arab/Palestinian food," you're wrong. The majority of Israel's Jewish population is actually from Arab lands. The food Muslim Arabs and Christian Arabs ate in Syria, or Tunisia is the same food the Jews there ate as well! When Jews were expelled from the Arab countries in 1948 and 1967, (which I must add created a larger refugee crisis than the "nakba"), they sure as hell brought the food they ate for hundreds of years with them. Israel's food scene is a combination of so many different cuisines Jews brought back with them from the diaspora. Don't claim Israeli food is Palestinian food because it simply is not.
