You have lived a full life if you haven’t done everything that is even of slight interest to you. Like with me before I even was 25 years old I’ve been to 48 American states and done just about everything of bucket list stuff in each from hiking to hunting to monuments to food and games. I ran out of bucket list items and started to ask others what there bucket list is and done it. It ended up with me moving to Hawaii and doing as many actives and things to fo there from helicopter rides to skiing in Hawaii to fishing lava tubes and so much more. I saw the movie 100 Metros and that inspired me to get up and start training and flew to Spain to run a marathon. By the time I hit 30 I realized I’ve lived my life and others. For example never thought I would end up climbing into a 100+ year old silver mine in the American Southwest with a few people I met online a month prior. But at 30 I’ve done everything even remotely noteworthy in America and now looking into more international trips such as spending time with a Amazonian Tribe or Machu Pichu, or Oktoberfest in Germany, Transiberian Railway, visit Chernobyl(cheeky breeki). Point is at 30 I literally ran out of things to do in 50 states Alaska I haven’t mentioned since that was done at age 26. Point is if you even have a slight notion to do something you haven’t lived a full life. At this rate by the time I’m 50 I should have covered most of the world since I only have 4 things left in North America one of which is exploring Qinngua Valley in Greenland. The other is finding a tin can from the ill fated Franklin Expedition and talking to locals about that. The other two is go on a whale hunt in Alaska and eating whale, and finally climbing La Danta. With my job and all trips like that I have the time but it’s pushing hard on my bank balance so I’m starting to think about making a KZbin channel for my adventures and seeing if that would supplement my more expensive trips. So I’m curious in your 75 years what have you done?

I am from south india, living in USA last 22 years, I love US but financially i feel like I am being scammed. I constantly making money but always under debt which basically causes stress unconsciously. Missed my Indian village visits, nothing compared to their unconditional love and compassion they show. All my grandparents passed away while I am here working in IT, now I feel like I have no one to go there or be there. Their memories makes me cry.

Don't worry. I was born in the Western world and never lived in India. But, I never wanted to return from my visits to India. I want to live the life of my ancestors. That's where my heart is. I have a big family, but they are not supportive. There aren't any grandparents or parents left. Life is always a struggle outside your homeland. You chose to have a better life. It's in this video. Maybe that was your lesson. The grass always seems greener on the other side, but it never is. We are who we are. Home is where the heart is. Maybe Karl was Indian in a past life because he speaks Hindi very well. We need more Karls in this world. I'm tired of prejudice.

@@Suresh_Kamath I would love to visit Bhutan, which the Bhutanese government promotes as the "Happiest Country in the World" but it seems they only want wealthy visitors. I often visit Nepal, but my income is limited so in Bhutan, the so-called sustainable development fee (SDF), of $200 per night plus accommodation, food etc, means I will probably never be able to visit. Even for Indians it's expensive at $15 per night plus accommodation. food etc. Surely this must be one of the most expensive countries in the world for tourists to visit. It seems to me this is only the happiest country in the world for rich tourists - i wonder if the Buddha would approve?

So happy that you are back! Really inspiring. Watching this, I felt a little from the old world I experienced in my youth in Spain. That world and lifestyle has mostly vanished in Spain (for example the Payés de Catalunya), so it is nice to see it still very much alive in India (rural farming and an honest, simple life). I traveled to Rajasthan with my mother back in 2012, but have been mostly to more urban and touristic places (Jaipur, City Palace surrounded by lakes, Jain temple etc.), so I only experienced part of that region. Still, a wonderful experience I wouldn't want to miss.

Your Hindi is like my Thai when I translate it in my head I am using an English filter and it isn't always correct.... :) I too live in a very small village but n rural Thailand and I have to say all small villages are the same worldwide, the language may be different, the food may be differently prepared but they all have rumor mills and create fanciful tales from the sounds of leaves that rustle in the wind. My mother in law is referred lovingly and laughingly by my wife as the aardvark. Because she can put her nose in 5 houses downs business... Thanks for the time involved in making this video and for sharing your village life with the world. Seems that the Indians are more accepting of foreigners than the Thai community.
