Yeah, one thing I prefer is not as big as Shanghai, Guangzhou or Beijing (although it has 15 millions population is consider very big for most of the foreign cities) and the air quality should be cleaner. Went ChongQing last October for interview as well, gosh 30 millions mega city with extremely haze only 100 meter visibility. Seriously, suddenly i feel so tiny. Tianjin is my hometown. It has the lowest suicide rate in China. What are the reasons: People there are friendly, humorous, and outgoing; the city has advanced educational and medical system, but it is less stressful than in Shanghai and Beijing.

If you go to Tianjin be sure to check the weather first. The temperature can change like a woman's mood lol. Suddenly dropping 8 degrees within a single day. It might be okay for tourists, but if you live here you do quickly run out of things to do.

haha yeah the temperature can get pretty cold in Beijing as well!

May I know where to see this performance? at 11:37

It was in the 'Water Park' we went on a Sunday and it was just filled with people doing different performances and having fun. I think it was my favourite thing we did in the city.

They are everywhere after dark in Tianjin. I highly recommend Yinhe Park in Tianjin International Exhibition Center. I was there one night a few years back in summer, it's packed with people dancing, just a happy crowd.

It's been under the shadow of Beijing for decades. With high speed rail, it'll soon become most favorite day-trip from Beijing. Thanks Nico 👍 🙏
