It’s great seeing the Russian far East especially Vladivostok I feel like it never gets much attention because we’re always thinking of St. Petersburg or Moscow, the town looks really nice. It kind of reminds me of Japanese cities a little bit.

LOL well a lil because of the potatoes, cause I am part Irish? Nah Russians are just built diff they are strong people, I used to be security in a tourist place in Australia I met quite alot of Russians they are stand offy and quite intense to people in Australia but for me its a respect thing and its how you judge a man if they can look you in the eyes and then usually we shook hands and said hello, every Russian man I met was like that whilst only very few in the west are like that its just something I'd have a Russian by my side over any other race on earth in a fight too, in the west we were indoctrinated that USA won ww2 ect but the Soviets won ww2 and I know the Soviet Union isn't what Russia is today but they were the reason the Nazis were defeated, 30 millions lives lost.. I got huge respect for their sacrifices regardless of how or why it happened or or who was in charge those people deserve everybody's respect imo. Insanely tough people, omg the women were in combat roles, Snipers, Tank drivers, Russian women are legit warriors - I'd be hella proud to have that DNA Plus you wrestle bears Sorry for the essay but maybe you enjoy an Aussies POV @@lisa_with_love

Forks are better than spades for potato digging because they don't cut so many if you dig in the wrong place. You are too young to remember the 1990's when many people lost their jobs and the dacha became VERY important to keep food on the table. The wife's parents had ALL 6 sotoks PLANTED with vegetables, krasny smorodinas, and apple trees. They grew everything and then PRESERVED it for the winter. Every year I had to go to the optovaya basa to get a sack of 50kg of sugar for them.
