Don’t forget to visit Dragons head in Jeju, on the south end of the island. It’s only open couple weeks out of the month because of the tide. It was the most beautiful part of Jeju we saw, an amazing walk along a rocky cliff. Stunning views, way better than the waterfalls.

Probably got “island fever”. Or they wanted true seasons and didn’t like the year round heat. That’s what I hear from people most often. Maui is especially off the beaten trail, and unless you have a lot of friends and family there, I imagine it would feel very isolated. I don’t know if I could live on Maui and I’m from Oahu. It’s beautiful and magical though!!

There isn't a specific reason to pinpoint, but the main reason is that we decided to travel. The reason we don't have the desire to return to Maui is that after living here for about two years, it doesn't feel like home to us.

I recommend they visit Oahu or Maui & experience living there for a couple of months before pulling the trigger to see if that's really for them.
