How expensive Kenya is depends on your lifestyle...Gina lives in uptown Nairobi where things are expensive if she lives in Eastland's or other middle class areas things would be cheaper.

I think this applies everywhere, there are rich, middle class and low class areas which determine the price of things and cost of living. So I agree with you on that, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic 🥰

Cost of living in Kenya depends on where you live,if you live in places like westlands,Kileleshwa,Kilimani and lavington those are upper middle class areas and life there is more expensive.But satellite towns around Nairobi are cheaper eg Kitengela,Ruiru,Ongata Rongai,Kiserian,Kiambu and Ruaka,so live in a place you can afford and all will be well.😅

On the part of lack of communal togetherness, it's mostly in Nairobi but if you go upcountry or even in a city like Mombasa there is a very strong communal culture. So I would say your sentiments largely apply to Nairobi and not the whole country

Visitors that come to Kenya and say that its expensive,, will all depend which area you are staying. So it is being looked at subjectively. Areas like Kikuyu, Ruaka, Syokimau are relatively cheaper than upscale Kileleshwa, Kilimani, Lavington. And also, you need to explore outside Nairobi then get a full perspective of how Kenya is before making a conclusion

When you talk of Nigerian food not being in Kenya, can't you see it as a business opportunity, import the ingredients,buy a farm and plant the ingredients,and serve the ingredients to the local Nigerian community which is big.😅

Absolutely a great idea, a lot of Nigerians here are already into this business here in Kenya. So we can get the food here but at a higher cost 😆

Nairobi is heavily cosmopolitan where all the major African ethnic groups converge. In addtition, ebeing a UN City, we have alot of Nationalities here. This is what informs on Nairobi inter-ethnic and inter-racial cultures. Actually, we are social in our own way. We see know need of saying hi to every stranger we meet, however, for those we already know, we are extremely social with them. I also suspect that Kenya was heavily influenced with a mix of the British, Indian and Arab culture. Espacially in the major cities.

Please, this is the last video I'll condone on lack of Nigerian food not being available in Kenya. It's time you do you. Kenya is a free enterprise State. It's a business opportunity available to you guys. Stop whining and send the shipment of pepper 🌶️ etc. No way a Kenyan like me can enjoy Nigerian Cuisine in the US, and not a Nigerian in Kenya Africa
@Iamblakcoffee
@Iamblakcoffee 8 ай бұрын
We don’t do that here Sam, be nice. If you watched the video you’ll realize we mentioned there are West African stores that sell Nigerian food but they are pricey so if any Nigerian is coming here they should stock up on food that can last them for a while before they have to start buying at expensive prices. Yes it’s a business opportunity and a whole lot of people are doing that already. This video is to sensitize Nigerians coming here and it’s important to talk about food they can get and what they cannot get here in Kenya and the cost as well. What exactly is pissing you off here?
