Just go up the street that goes by the Greek Theatre and you’ll get to one of the best views in LA-the Griffith Observatory. On a clear day you can see all the way to the ocean in Santa Monica. At night it’s a spectacular view of the city.

I don't know what it is about L.A. I lived there for five years in...wait for it...the 1970's...and I LOVED it! I wound up having to leave...didn't want to, but...life happens. For years I tried without success to find a way back, but I never even managed a visit until a few years ago, when I went out there for a week, and...it felt like home from the minute I arrived. The weather, the people, the landscape, the energy, and my GOD...the light! Glad you were able to pull it off, and hope you love every minute of it!

Be careful that musty old building smell can often be mold. Get the place tested. If you are in Los Felez there’s a great off leash dog park near the 5 freeway

Loved the plant selection. My house is already full but there's always room for one more. Make sure you're back in Fort Wayne for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. FW is not in it but a short 30-40 minute drive puts you right in the middle of the event of a lifetime. I hope you find happiness!! ☺

Happy for you. I used to go to L.A. several times a year when my two college best friends were living there as doctors. It was always a fun time. But they moved out and I don't go anymore. Well Happy Belated KZbin anniversary Mark ! and a Happy Belated Birthday to Olive :) Poor thing doesn't get to make any doggy friends before you move again. ha I swear.. you NEED wheels on your Furniture you move so often. *Mark the _Next time you want to buy an indoor plant/tree.. buy a Schefflera !! NOT the dwarf or variegated.. just the Regular Schefflera. They'll withstand low light & abuse & still thrive :) The Palm you bought will slowly die from lack of proper humidity.. You'll notice the tips turning brown first.
