hi! a quick note on that- for the artist to sculpt, paint and finish the piece, would take a few hours. (not including the design efforts) In order to have it at a shop, the artist likely takes away $30 per piece (the rest goes to the retail store). it would depend on how much a customer values supporting local artists, and plan to cherish the artwork (for decades?) would justify investing with that price! A lot of times, more affordable ornaments would be machine made or handmade abroad where the cost of labor is significantly lower!
