a few years ago when I visited Tibet, I made a comment that how come Lhasa so modern, feel a bit disappointed. My friend replied that everyone deserves a better life. Modern lifestyle is better than the traditional old way.
Tibet was a utopia. People wrote mythical books about it. Didn't you watch the first part of Seven years in Tibet before the Chinese army started killing everyone

Neither can I as it is so clean and organised for a village. But our Yang Yang did it without any assistance from oxygen the elixir of life. Congratulations for such a fine effort. It is better than any tourism and or geopolitical video showcasing how much the life has changed for the better without losing out on their cultural heritage. Love the bit the young lady say that life has improved.

I hope it doesnt degrade into somewhere like Bali in indonesia where they sell their culture to drunk Australians who just want to feel like the elite rich.

Wow, the southern parts of Gansu looks so lush. The stereotypical images of most Chinese have regarding Gansu is that of deserts and barren land, where ruins of ancient cities and forts along the great wall stands petrified under the scorching Sun

used to visit a lot of Tibetan regions when I was small, on road trips with parents. and to be perfectly honestly I never really enjoyed these trips, mostly due to the relatively awful living conditions in these regions. However in recent years I have been driving myself to several of the Tibetan regions for vacations, and things have just developed so much. most of these places are now perfect combinations of tradition and modernity

Another well made video. As you know, there are lots of Tibetan prefectures outside Xizang itself that foreigners can see without needing to obtain the travel permit e.g. Aba and Garze in West Sichuan as well where you documented this (Gannan). Reassuring to know peaceful village life continues to exist in little enclaves like this. The topography of the peaks is strange and stupefying there. This might sound a bit silly, but you remind me of an American actress: Daryl Hannah. Particularly in the voice department!

Just found this channel but maybe we have met before. It was fall 2019 probably, and there was this activity which volunteers picking up waste on the Zijin Mountain. I was passing by and then had a small talk with a girl who was sitting on the roadside. I was quite nervous. Can still remember she said she's from Virginia. Maybe that was you.

Good the see that Chinese people of whatever ethnicity have in common the joy of dancing together in public. You see Uyghurs in Xinjiang, old and young in Beijing, etc , Miao in Guizhou, and so on, dancing together in public areas and enjoying themselves.

That giant yellow ball is a wheel of butter. It isn't a mix of butter and cheese or somewhere in the middle, it is just butter. This video is nice to give a glimpse, but you really help promotoe the agenda at hand. There are quite a few Chinese people in those villages who operate a lot of the restuarants and hotels as well and you may not have noticed.

I am happy to know that Tibetan language and culture is preserved amidst local modernization for improved living comfort within their regions. I believe this is happening around China in the villages, and this is the strategy of the Chinses government to lift poverty and delivering sustainability. It would attract more young people coming back to the village area after they complete the uni; I have learned storeys about recently, as there will be more opportunities around rather than staying at the busy crowded city.

Zhagana is a pretty well known tourist destination in Gansu and a couple other videos like the ancient towns in Sichuan and Anhui are as well . anything related to biking in the countryside is places I picked at random off the satellite map . Some other places like the yunnan 18th tier city video are random aside a certain condition such as the place has to have a bullet train station

The crops out drying the way they did is unique. It's a wonderful adventure for everyone. I've always dreamed to live in a village surrounded by high peaks like this.
