Great interview, great insights. I love hearing from digital nomads. I do not think it is a fade anymore; I believe it is a trend, and if a person can find their niche, bingo, being a digital nomad is genuinely a "god" send. I wish I had discovered this many years ago while climbing corporate ladders. I really appreciate this type of content. Thank you, Paul. GREAT JOB.

True, the beauty of living in a foreign country is the fact that everything is foreign to you such as language, food, culture and people which creates a unique experience and self growth. Especially if you go in not wealthy and you immerse yourself among the locals. When I lived in Thailand, I took 3 intensive months of learning reading and writing in Thai and enrolled in a Thai high school where I had no other option but to learn everything in Thai and make friends with kids that only spoke Thai.

The USA grind is real. I believe it's like that because of how expensive it is so you're always worried about making more $, putting more into your 401K and Roth IRA, etc. For instance making $100,000 in New York City or Los Angeles can be tight; sounds crazy right? So that grind to make more and more is real.

10:07 the only thing stopping you is if you move and everything is going fine, but then India jumps in and does the same job for nothing. This happens. Have a backup plan

Same could happen if you stayed in the US but your expenses would be higher. Isn't that riskier? Having that extra savings, is a part of that backup plan

Are the women on the dating sites in the Philippines really that into foreigners because they're actually interested or is it more from an economics standpoint? If the woman in the Philippines made really good money, would they be on Tinder chasing foreign men? I've heard the high earning women from affluent families in the Philippines are typically not interested in foreign men. It's the women who are not as rich or from affluent families who are more apt to date a foreigner. Thoughts?

Sounded like a sense of entitlements. Wanted the best of both world. If that is the case, you ain't tried to run away from the west from beginning
