Thanks and again thanks Gill for your lessons and interviews. I am Italian too and it is easier for me understand Italian people who speak English. Are some years that I have been studying English and I have understood that for well speaking a language it is fundamental to spend a long time in an English-speaking country, and that’s why as soon as I will retire I will go to California 🏄♂️ Bye Gill.

When I was in London and Essex I met really nice people in shops, at the bus and in the streets who are very nice and helpfull when they became aware that I am a foreigner and English isn't my native language. There where everywhere people from other countries and each of them have a special way of pronounciation, therefor I felt good with my 'German English'. Even old english Ladies at Aldi spoke to me very respectful about the weather and her bought groceries. And by the way: The weather in London isn't as bad as I was taught. In winter it is very much better as in Northern Germany! Less rain, less frost...there are growing palms outside in the garden! One week in January and one week in March with absolutely NO rain - that's impossible here at the Balic Sea.

Hello, Gill ! I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and when I found you, I confirmed that English is really my second language! It's lovely the way you show us how to learn! I'm a psychoanalyst, and I've been teaching English since I was a child, sitting at my family table, with my school friends, helping them with my, even now, few knowledges of this nice language. Then I became a teacher, but I work with young children, so, I haven't got the opportunity of just chatter! Jaja! In 2016, I went to London for 5 days, a sweet dream that came true 💜! . Thanks a lot, Gill!!!
