RV Camping
We like to "Switch it Up" between resorts and campgrounds and boondocking is always an option.
We draw inspiration from Keep Your Daydream KYD, Less Junk More Journey, Finding Our Someday and Changing Lanes. We normally travel in an HDT similar to KZbin channels Suite Travels, Switch it Up and Watts on Wheels. I also get some ideas from the editing style of Happily Ever Hanks @Happilyeverhanks #thankshanks and believe it or not, I actually learned something from MRBeast Mr Beast video's as well. We're not exactly taking Life in the Slow Lane but we do stop and smell the roses.
Our journey is the destination. We want to share our experiences of our discovery of What's Next.

We use the Open Roads card for diesel fuel and save a bundle each time we fill up our Big Rig. We also use it to fill up our Onan generator.

Our Class C is built by Thor Motorcoach on a Ford F550 chassis. It's a production build Magnitude model XG32. We tow our red Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind it. We've made some modifications to it so that we can boondock comfortably. Lithium batteries, Victron 3000w multi-plus inverter, dual alternators charge while traveling and mods to the water system greatly enhance it's boondocking capabilities.
Our extreme completely custom 5th wheel is built on a semi-trailer chassis with air suspension and air brakes. Completely loaded it weighs 42,000 lbs rolling down the highway. And we do roll down the highway nearly every week. You see, we believe that if your home has wheels they should be used.

Coachnet is our roadside assistance company we use but hopefully we don't use them too often. LOL

Dave, teach your wife to use the canned or powdered milk as a survivallist! I know it is hard these days, I always try and keep at least 80 16.9 ML bottles of water in the house! Whatever you need to stock on board the bid rig, do it in Montana where they do not have sales tax!!! Talk about going uphill. When we left our home in Mich headed for Glacier on U.S. 2 it was a constant uphill and it didn’t end until we passed Logan Pass and headed back home. Us flatlanders got a lesson in “going west”. But it was fun and exciting to see our beautiful country. We took a break out in North Dakota and when Hubby tried to open his door, the wind was blowing so hard he said he was wondering why the truck felt like it was struggling. We were towing a 24 ft Fiver, the little things that you remember from a vacation, priceless!

I just seen your video,you in Vegas. Next time you go down that way if you have’nt already, go up to Mount Charleston I don’t know if the restaurant up there’s been rebuilt or not but there’s also camping areas. You can look into by taking your small smart car And there’s wild horses and There’s a ski lodge walking trails. I think you’ll like it.

No sales tax states work good for full time Rvers who have no home base. But most of the "No sales tax states", have outrageous property taxes. States have to get taxes from somewhere. America is a free country but it is not free to live in our beautiful country. People think that waving a flag is patriotic, but paying taxes is one of the most patriotic things you can do.

Next time in forsyth area think about stopping here. We would love to visit with you. Are house wise now but spent several years traveling and working. Did a few forest service campgrounds as hosts and area managers. Loved the travel and meeting all the great people.

Funny, on the map with your route on hwy 12 you showed a town called Roundup (12:48 mark). That's where my mom was born in 1935. It's a sparsely populated area now. Imagine what that placed looked like in 1935.

I have so enjoyed tagging along. Just love this part of the country and have seen many new place with you. I don’t know if you have tried Parmalat shelf milk. We used it in Mexico all the time. It’s good when chilled and has a long shelf life, we all were big cereal eaters and Mom didn’t trust the refrigerated milk. You might want to give it a try, that way in the middle of nowhere it will buy you some time Till you get to the store. Walmart has it. ❤

That's something I always try to do is get the best campsite that'll be the easiest to get in and out of!! Getting a campsite that either they chose or is first come first get always makes me nervous!!
