Negativity is annoying at times, but we as black women have been bashed so much about our hair it takes a toll on a lot of our self esteem. Negativity a lot of times comes from anger which is rooted in hurt. Black women (THE BLUEPRINT) get criticized for the creative things we do, then the GREAT VALUE"S come along centuries later and get praised for what we've created. All in all some people are just negative and you just have to leave them to themselves. However, others will eventually come around and see that what you said was true all along.

If black women isn't complaining about someone else's hair they're complaining about their own hair. They need to read a few children's books about hair love because too many black women HATE THEIR HAIR!!! I commented on a video of a girl with a twist out and it lost it's definition when she went outside so it got puffy. It was a complaint post about her hair! I'm proud of my hair so if my fro gets puffy I say "big hair don't care!" Having definition in my hair is not important, healthy volume and it's natural look is important to me. Being ashamed that your hair doesn't have definition is a SELF problem and it's self-hate of your hair. Black hair is beautiful and magical and when it does it's own thing it's all beautiful so black women need to STOP hating their hair!!!
