Although I get what the second comment is talking about, this quote really speaks to me. Most compliments I get are about my appearance, which kind of makes sense because it's the first thing you notice about someone. But if you almost never get compliments on your brain by potential partners, you start to question your intellect. And if you already have inferiority complexes, because of your intellect, it only makes it worse... Compliments on my brain & character mean much more to me than on my appearance. When I look hot, I know that I look hot. I don't need anybody's validation on that. People get confused, when I tell them "I know", after they complimented me. It's like they expect me to fall on my knees and be forever thankful for that 🙄 it's nice to look good, but when I'm old and grey, I want someone who loves me for me and not the hot looking person i was 10.000 years ago.

But I want to build my career because that's given me fulfillment and tbh I think that will always come first, but I'm not opposed to having children, is just not my priority. *Please talk about close platonic relationships between women and men in film and television and the pressure inflicted on them to have a romantic relationship instead!* Examples: Natasha and Steve from the MCU, Olivia and Elliot from Law and Order, Ellie and Paul from The half of it, etc. How society views platonic relationships as just a building step for a romantic relationship instead, and somewhat forces us to view them as such to the point we can even start to confuse our own feelings when we're faced with similar situations and believe we're ~in love~ with the other person. Owen hunt annoys me, personally i feel like he's one of the worst characters and is always dealing with baby mama drama. I just thinks he's been on the show for too long

Yes! It was obvious from day one that Christina didn’t want a child. Marrying someone thinking you can change them is a giant risk. A risk that might end your marriage

As a doctor who never wanted to be a doctor (yes i'm Asian), Yang taught me that if i don't 100% enjoy what i do, i shouldn't do it. People say i should hold on to the medical knowledge i spent 6 years learning and just keep being a doctor. :( But now I found a job where i don't do anything clinical. It's been about 3 years since i last practiced medicine. And i AM HAPPY! :D

This women right here has inspired me more than anyone. Her drive to be the best and better than anyone is damn motivating. Her character is so complex, that makes her more human and we can relate to that character I haven’t watched greys Anatomy post her exit

Yang's the best and most wholesome character Grey's ever produced, followed by Bailey.

Shes by far my favorite tv character. Her personality, childfree stance, humor, values, etc so closely resembles my own. I get heat for being unapologticly myself so seeing someone similar on primetime be so popular really drove home that I wasnt as much a "defect" as people would make me feel.

For the allusion of the heart, I think you could’ve added more. For example, the heart is a complex but simultaneously fragile organ. Similarly, to how Cristina doesn't perfectly fit any stereotypes or mold herself into the expectations of the people she loves but is also capable of being a very emotional and sensitive person. (Btw she’s my role model).
